Great cup of coffee. I come from the Northwest– the land of coffee, where you can find a coffee joint on every corner. Over the last five years, the trend has been toward lighter roasts and tepid temperatures. In my neighborhood, I can’t throw a cat without hitting a fancy cafe, but am hard pressed to find a decent cup of joe anymore. I was in Orlando for the weekend and did a web search for the best coffee. Austin’s didn’t let me down! It was the freshest roast, perfect temp, most awesomely satisfying cup of coffee I’ve had in years! Thank you for reminding me that good coffee (and great service!) is still around.
Great espresso in a cool environment!
I don’t hate it. PRO: the small ice coffee is a HUGE ice coffee. For around $2.50 it’s a good deal. I found the coffee to be pretty good. It’s a hodgepodge of furniture and a comfy environment. The man who appeared to be the manager was not the friendliest of men.
I was searching for the best coffee in Orlando/ Central Florida Area. I am sorry to say, it was not here. I had a Latte and cappacino, both were okay. Staff friendly and passionate about their coffee.
This is not coffee.. I tried this coffee shop, My gripe is with the coffee they brew, it tastes like water! I have gone on several different occasions to give them a fair chance, but it’s the same every time. I have heard comments that the coffee there is really smooth, sorry, but watered down and smooth are not the same thing. Quality smooth coffee feels heavy on the tongue, this coffee feels like hot water. So, if you want a cup of brewed coffee that tastes like water, cream and sweetener or a latte that has a flat taste, be my guest. If you’re like me and you want coffee with character, go to Quokka in Kissimmee. I am sure i’m not the only one who feels this way.
Coffee great, food delicious, people EPIC!!! 24 hours a day…. Priceless!!
A great night out…. Austin’s is just one of those kitchy places that exist simply to provide a relaxed environment for coffee, food and music. The live band evenings are too much fun and have hosted a lot of great local acts. It can get a little bit crowded during a show but eventually you’ll get a seat!
