Food. Second rate meat sausage and chicken steak not prim, full of fat you have a salad bar that wasn’t good had to get the waiters attention which was hard lamb was tough will nether go there again I’m from England now live here have put a post on English web site saying how bad it is too expensive for what you get Do not go very bad
Fun. Disclaimer: we went here for an all-inclusive work party, so my results may be skewed. This place was great. The meat came around faster than I could keep up, so by the time I got smart and turned my card to red, I had a mountain of animal flesh on my plate. I liked some of the meats better than others, but there was enough to keep me satisfied. I even requested a particular protein, and they made a special dish just because I asked. Between meet feasts, I dined on the food bar. The cocktails made were great, and served speedily throughout the night. The staff was extremely busy on this night, but they catered to all our wishes with a smile. They even switched on a particular football game that I wanted to watch. By the time we closed the place down, our party and the staff were cheering for our team and we were all one big sloppy mess.
Over Priced – Non Quality. We were so excited to dine at Nelore this evening and were extremely disappointed. Meat lovers beware! We hoped for prime meats and were served sausages; chicken legs steamed in bear; garlic chicken; well done lamb and salty flank steak. Patrons are encouraged to start at the salad bar; cheese and bread bar so that you are full and less likely to indulge in the steak selections. Supposedly there are 15 different selections of meat. We were lucky to have tasted five or six and only a few were red meat. Most were over cooked, salty and not to our liking. Unfortunately, we purchased a groupon and still spent $150 plus for only 2 adults and 1 child.
Waste of Money. Dined at Nelore this evening and spent $55 w/a Living Social voucher (which cost an add’l $16). Aside from my husband liking the parmesan pork (though still dry) and ribs, everything I tried was either dry or had a weird taste — including the bacon-wrapped filet, house special, garlic sirloin, and flank steak. The only things I didn’t try were sausage and lamb…no other chicken or beef were offered. Complete disappointment and we will never be back.
Not Worth The Price. I bought a Groupon for this deal and had to use it before it expired. Before the Groupon, our total (just my husband and I, no alcohol) was $101. After it was still $51. The service was great and all the servers were very kind and attentive. The meat was decent (but tough) and the buffet was just OK. The best meat we tried was the Plank Steak and that is rather cheap. I would never come back for the price. The only place around that is worth $100 for two is The Melting Pot and you are paying for all the different fondus and the experience. This place is just mediocre and not worth more than $50 for two. My husband and I can’t eat a ton of food so we definitely left feeling we didn’t get what we paid for. I give the service an A+ but the quality of food a C. The best thing I enjoyed was the tomato bisque soup and well you can find that cheaper than $50 a person.
Incredible meat!!! Probably the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place. I just wish it were not so expensive so I could eat there more often.
Very good. I used a living social deal and was treat very well. The meat and salad bar was fantastic. I would go back.
