The food in this churrasqueria is very good. I couldn’t help to keep comparing it with Texas de Brazil and Fogo de Chao; even though this place is not actualy up there, the service was at its best and the meat cuts were good. I used a Travelzoo voucher and ended up paying practically 50% of the price.
Great place. Got 50% off coupon from their mailing list. Small, quiet. Good, basic churrasco. They don’t pound you with food. Come expecting to sit back and take your time.
Friendly service and the salad bar was fine, however, the rest of the experience was very poor. There were only two gauchos trying to serve the entire restaurant, so it took a very long time to get any meat of any kind. When they did finally come to the table you felt compelled to take whatever you could get. Only the top sirloin was cooked medium/medium rare, they rest was very well done and most lacked flavor of anything other than salt. I’ve been to several other Brazilian Steakhouses over the years, one in Chicago last week, and this was the worst experience I’ve had with this type restaurant. Other than continuously offering groupons and other special deals, I’m not sure how they have stayed in business.
