Thought we would check this put. Heard good and bad. If your looking for just a burger and fries that are good, this is the place. They’re nothing to knock your socks off and I can imagine that a good Steak N Shake could compete well.
The veggie burger is the bomb! Had the peanut butter shake. Price is reasonable. Me and my wife with 4 other friends; the total coast about $50.00.
It’s a little expensive for a burger joint, but you’re getting quality ingredients. The chocolate milkshake was think and delicious, and the fries weren’t too greasy. The burger was pretty good, too. Would like to try the quinoa burger sometime.
Best burger joint in Orlando-cheap and quick, made with delicious ingredients. Parking is not the best and a little awkward, but allows you to eat on Park Avenue for a cheap buck.
Terrible experience today, they stopped trying; go to Shake Shack.
Our burger experience. We stopped here to check this place out. I am going to rate this experience on the following. Pro’s:*The best fresh cut fries we have ever had. They were fresh, crisp and made to order how awesome is that?!*The staff when ordering was very friendly, helpful, smiling and made ordering and asking questions a breeze.* Good location and parking is in the parking garage around the corner.*The custard was delicious. Made to order and so addictive and yummy. (Try it! They even give out samples!) *You can get beer or wine there (Awesome)*Atmosphere was light, airy and not overly stuffy for a burger joint in an upscale neighborhood. Con’s:*The beef burger was bland. It needed seasoning and something to bring out flavor. (Angus beef is very lean and you need something to help enhance that delicious meat), What I have found to make very lean ground beef or angus to sing with flavor is minced onion and garlic, salt and pepper, olive oil and Lee and Perrins, Original Worcestershire Sauce. This would help make the burger go from okay to WOW! (just my biased opinion).*The staff that monitors the dinning and seating area need to step it up big time. The place needed to be picked up and the trash emptied. I told a man behind the counter and he went and with his hand pushed the trash down and did not empty it.*The table we sat at was rickity and the table wobbled making it feel like it would collapse. *The veggie burger was more money then the Angus burger and was a warm mush burger. No flavor, mushy, completely unremarkable. Boca Burgers, Garden Burgers or a morning star burger would be better then the mush I was served. From this experience they need to have the original burger (what they do now) and a more flavorful one that can really make your mouth water, taste buds sing and something so incredible that you are left wondering where have you been all my life!….Angus meat is super lean you need fat (I know what you are already thinking) to help bring out the flavor. Oil can help but you really need beef fat to do it justice. I am not meaning tons of fat but a hint of some beef fat to help accentuate the flavor. There is a big difference in flavor when you go from 95% lean meat to 85% to 86% lean meat is much juicier and not so dry. FYI: A really good burger is messy. It is not meant to be a forgettable experience. If you want a mindless beige meat disk go to McDonalds. A great burger is juicy, smells delicious, has a nice hot toasted bun, crisp fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and onions (red preferred) and crisp fresh dill or bread and butter pickles. When eating it juices should run out the back and drip on the plate, Also, it need to be hot and all ingredients the freshest available. Big meaty and juicy should be the main points when you are done reading. The veggie burger was awful. Ditch it and try something else (I really mean anything else). Also why it it the most expensive? Lastly, for the love of god add 1 chicken option. PLEASE! A pan seared chicken breast option with fresh topping would be great. A flattened chicken breast, with a mild seasoning rub cooked and served on a bun with fresh veggies would give your customers a new option. (Make it made to order with seasoning options and you could really see an up tick in customers and revenue).
Great Burger. One of my favorite burger joints in Orlando. I really like how they do service here. I wish the burgers were slightly bigger for how much they cost, but the flavor is good. They’ve got those awesome coke machines that let you mix and match flavors with a touch screen. I’ve had their ice cream which is a nice finishing touch to your meal. The shakes are great too!
