Chez Le Rude StaffWe had been looking forward to an evening of French cuisine at Chez Vincent. I had been eying this restaurant for quite some time and thought it would make a nice place to celebrate a special occasion for usWe arrived at the restaurant, which is separated into two areas by a bar. Chez Vincent on one side, and Hannibals on the other same food, same restaurant, just two different names. We walked in through the Chez side. None of the servers looked up although we attempted to get their attention, Perhaps the entrance is on the other side. We walked over to the Hannibals side. The place had a handful of patrons dining at their tables, and another handful at the bar. We were not greeted, but were able to flag down a thinly-built man with thinning dark blondish hair whom I assume was the matre d. We informed him that we had a reservation and he said, as he pointed, pick a table we have two here, and one in the back. We were surprised that he simply pointed to the tables and left us to choose one even more so that a restaurant of this caliber, and price-tag, would not walk their customers to a table, pull out the chair, ask if that table is ok you know, the normal thing that a matre d’ normally does.We chose the table furthest to the back of the room and patiently waited for about 10 minutes no one came to the table no one said, someone will be right with you, nothing A young, blonde waitress tended to the table on the other side of the back of the room my husband said, Excuse me attempting to get her attention for a menu, a glass of water anything. She didnt even glance at him and continued walking we waited another two minutes nothing Do you want to go? This might go downhill from here, and I dont want to pay for bad service and perhaps bad food. We got up and left right next door to the Italian restaurant across the street, where we had a wonderful meal and dining experience.Very disappointingI am writing this review, as we want to make sure M. Gagliano is aware. As the owner and chef, I would imagine he would want to be informed of the service his staff provides potential customers. A real shame

BAD BAD BAD!! The food was just ok (I think one plate was microwaved), the service was really bad and the place needs some TLC. I should mention that this was lunch, and the total was about $75. There were broken porcelain for the potatoes, creme brulee and the plate holders that they have on the table were full of rust (yes, lots of rust). I love to go to different places and I try MANY restaurants; it’s my hobby. So I try a restaurant with a voucher and then come back if I liked it. I always tip on the original price; however, the server added 20% (for a party of two!) Not recommended. Ever!

One of the absolutely best dining experiences ever. From the moment we made our reservation, to arriving at the restaurant with the warm and friendly greeting to our server and the great dinner.Chez Vincent really knows authentic French cuisine. They really know how to do exceptional food with great taste, great flavor and nice presentation. All of their soups are homemade and delicious. Especially their specialty French Onion Soup. WOW, it was so good. The Lamb dinner with blue cheese was awesome.Cannot wait to come back and try more items.

Absolutely wow factor French restaurant. The homemade soups are to die for. You can certainly tell they are made from scratch. And the lamb chops dinner is so amazing. The blue cheese sauce made it perfect. One of the best French meals I’ve ever had. Cannot wait to go back and try more dishes. Chef and owner Vincent came by our table and introduced himself. Nice touch that the owner came by.Definitely a new go-to restaurant and close to home.

Ruined Valentines Day. I made a reservation over a month in advanced. I called on Valentines day to make sure everything was in order. They had zero record of my reservation and were fully booked. I will never eat at this restaurant for any reason including if someone were to pay me.

J’adore Chez Vincent. I’ve been going to Chez Vincent and Hannibal’s on the Square for years as my go-to place for sophisticated French cuisine. I love everything about both sides of the venue and have had numerous special occasions there, including in the amazing wine cellar. Vincent usually makes an appearance at our table to ensure our satisfaction and all of the staff are superb. This is by far my favorite place to dine, drink wine, or just soak up the beautiful ambience of Winter Park. Merci, Vincent.
