Worst Irish pub food. This was one of the worst Irish pubs that consider themselves as Irish food . The Reuben was made with processed corn beef , lunch meat. Was not even served hot . The spinach dip (?) was frozen spinach defrosted warmed with a block of cheese melted on top . The chips with the dip were about 2 mos over their expiration date . No taste to anything . Child’s burger wasn’t even eaten . Just awful!
I had high expectations for the Irish food but the food fell flat. The spinach dip tasted like if was from a can and cheese was layered on top and the chips had no salt on them. The shepards pie lacked flavor and seemed to be unseasoned. The carrots that came with the dish, no salt, seasoning or butter and undercooked. The bangers and mash also came off flat and only the gravy added flavor, but it reminded my of gravy from a jar. While the atmosphere, music and beer was enjoyable. The food was regrettable and I can’t recommend fiddlers green for Irish food but it is a nice place to enjoy a pint.
We’re locals, long time residents of the neighborhood and have see the success of Fiddler’s wax and wane through the roughy ears and the past good years, We have loved the place but recently mourn the loss of a good Paddy, but often a Wobbler. Sand loss the, fish and chips to some grey mushy, frozen too long cod. That was a loss, cutbacks, you say? Often too loud to think or talk.. Please don’t go down that road.
Fantastic!. This is a nice place to escape to with my friends. Fun atmosphere and it is nice to have the live music. I really enjoy the food as well. Check it out!
Make sure you sprinkle on the awesome Malt Vinegar!
