Never disappoints, their cocktails are expensive but very tasteful! Food is very good, atmosphere is chic and elegant. A great date spot to be honest, or girls nights out before going to party some more! Food is just very good, salads are refreshing and entree delicate but leaves you full!
Spot on. We tasted almost every one of the little plates and they were delicious. The service was excellent. I highly recommend the White Linen cocktail.
Crowded, noisy Let down. I made reservations at Luma on Park hoping to celebrate a romantic anniversary with my wife at an upscale restaurant. Once there we were seated at a small table no more that 12 inches from the next which was soon occupied by another couple, ruining all chances of intimacy. Loud club music pulsated through the restaurant for the entire meal. Because the music was so loud, all patrons had to yell their conversations…throw in 100-odd patrons, and it created an atmosphere of high school cafeteria. The food was OK, not spectacular.Takeaway: food adequate, crummy atmosphere (unless you prefer to eat in the middle of a crowded dance club).
2 friends out on the town. Food, presentation, and service was out of control AMAZING! Wine cellar is a must see. So amazing my daughter is considering having her wedding reception there.
Not my favorite. Likely would not revisit.
Cooks not wear hairnets, or hats. Ravioli had not flavor and it took 20 plus minutes to bring our entrees. Totally disappointed.
Lunch at Luma on Park. I had the opportunity to visit Luma on Park (thanks to a generous gift card from my boss). The hubs and I made the most of our child-free afternoon, and indulged in a 2 hour, 5 course lunch at Luma. It was a wonderful experience! (Both the food and the child-free lunch part.) We were among the first to arrive for lunch service on Sunday, and had reservations for 11:30 a.m. After being seated, we told our server, Courtney, that we were going to enjoy a long lunch and he was happy to accommodate us through the entire visit. We began our meal with sweet potato soup. Made with white and yellow sweet potatoes, and topped with a citrus crme frache, truffle oil, and chervil, this soup was light and delicious. The citrus flavor, truffle oil and black pepper perfectly seasoned this dish. The hubs and I shared a Caesar salad. The house-made croutons were especially good. Next, I enjoyed the roasted cauliflower tart appetizer. This tart was made with gran cru gruyere and was topped with a fried egg, a suprising and tasty flavor combination, and plated with a frise salad, and garlic and chive pure. I definitely recommend you try this, I absolutely loved it. The hubs had a hard time deciding between a few of the appetizers (all of them looked good, really), so our served suggested the spinach-ricotta ravioli. The ravioli was served atop broccolini, melted onions, carrots, and thinly sliced jalapeo, and seasoned with chili flake. The colors in this dish were wonderful, and the textures of the soft ravioli in contrast to the crispness of the carrots and jalapeo made me love this dish too. For my entre, I chose the Idaho rainbow trout. This dish smelled amazing, and the flavor combinations were incredible. The trout was served on a bed of red colusari rice, eggplant pure, broccolini, roasted carrots, fennel and salsa verde. The hubs chose the Snake River Farms flank steak. The steak was seasoned to perfection, topped with Bordelaise sauce, and served with a classic wedge salad and fries. As we came to the end of our meal, we were completely stuffed and beyond satisfied, yet we still managed to fit in a dessert (we shared). We opted for the brownie la mode. This decadent brownie was rich and creamy on the inside with a light flake on top, and was served with a small dollop of vanilla ice cream, and covered in a sweet caramel sauce. We met the general manager, Tim Noelke, and let him know how much we enjoyed our visit and appreciated the great service by Courtney. He definitely recommended we come back for dinner, so we went ahead and made a reservation for our next visit. (Happy birthday to me!) Cant wait to return! Luma on Park has been open for 8 years, and they offer dinner service 7 nights a week. They are open for lunch on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only. Reservations are suggested but not required.
