Best pizza in Winter Park. Park Ave Pizza is by far the best pizza available in Winter Park. It is a simple place, which is a nice option when you don’t have the time or money to spend at the fancy restaurants on Park Avenue, or if you have kids who would not care for those places anyway! It is always a treat when I order even just the cheese pizza for my children. In addition, the owners are absolutely wonderful and kind and always very friendly.
Park Avenue Pizza has gone down. For a couple of years Ive been going to Park Ave Pizza. The first time I went, I remember delighting in the light, exotic flavor in the pizza sauce, which I believe was fresh basil. Since then, Ive noticed a decline in the quality of their pizza, but today was the limit. There was so little sauce on the pizza I ordered that it was dry and unpleasant. When I asked for extra sauce, I got a container so small, it was only enough for two slices. I went back for more and was told Id have to pay extra. The young man at the counter was pretty rude about the situation. Now mind you, their large pizza with black olives was a little over $18. Not particularly cheap. As I was up at the counter, I saw them making a fresh pizza, and they put very little sauce on it (I could see through to the dough in a lot of places). Im not sure if the rising cost of food is making Park Ave Pizza be cheap, but it sure seems like it. There was only one Parmesan shaker available on the floor. The quality at this place has sure gone down. Im never going back.
Its good, but takes a long time. Okay. The pizza is really good, yes.BUT I ordered a simple salad and chicken fingers and it took over two hours to reach me. As a matter of fact, I’m still waiting for it right now- I ordered at 5:26PM and it is 7:30PM. Horrible service. Not impressed. I called twice and they rushed me off the phone like it’s no big deal. I’m so hungry I feel nauseous. SERIOUSLY?!?! 2 HOURS FOR A SALAD AND CHICKEN FINGERS????? im dying
Best Bianca Pizza Ever!. I’m a bianca pizza fan and order it whenever and wherever I’m ordering pizza. This is the first time I’ve tried Park Ave. Pizza and I ordered the bianca with spinach. It is perfectly delicious, the best I’ve ever tasted – and I’m from NYC originally. Bravo to Park Ave. Pizza. I couldn’t find a parking space nearby (it’s a Saturday), so I had it delivered. Great stuff!
Went for dinner in a Friday night. Place was pretty empty. I ordered the Chucken Parmagiana and my daughter had a slice of cheese pizza. The chicken parm was really good although nothing special. It came cut into slices on top of ziti. The garlic knot that was included was very good also but not real hot as I had hoped. I tried my daughters pizza and. It was very good. The crust had a sweet taste ti it. Cleanliness could use help. There were many dirty tables and we had to switch a couple of times. That was annoying. Overall, this is a good place off Park Ave to get dome good food. I recommend it, just make sure to get a clean table.
