Not bad-not great. Bro’ Tom and I dropped by for lunch today. It was Taco Tuesday so Tom ordered a shrimp taco and a prime rib taco and was quite happy with both of them. He said the prime rib actually tasted like prime rib. I had a shrimp taco also and a mahi-mahi taco, both were very tasty. All seafood was ordered grilled rather than fried or blackened.However, it took an inordinate period of time to get me a bottle of beer and the food service was a little slow as well. This establishment will not win any prizes for authentic Mexican, but the food was more than edible and I would go back if in the neighborhood.
We just spent $100 for dinner for two at PRs and we shared a freaking entree. We used to go there back in college and the place was PACKED. Not anymore. You don’t expect to pay $15 for an ice filled margarita at PRs. Not cool anymore.
With a half hour wait for seating, I was hoping that the food would have been worth it. After a 45 minute wait for our food, I had been snacking on free chips and salsa for so long that I almost wasn’t hungry. Good thing, because the portion sizes are pathetic. The food is bland, over – hyped and overpriced. I don’t recommend this restaurant at all.

My rice was not cooked, beans were dry and the enchilada sauce was super spicy (even though the menu said nothing about that). The cook w looked like he were from ZZ Top. After complaining about how horrible the food was, we received one discount on the check. The waitress seemed to be aggravated with us. Do not go here! There are much better Mexican places not that far away.
This place is not Mexican and the food is terrible. Just go here for drinks and dirty hole in the wall bar atmosphere
