Visited Prato on a Friday night during a trip to Orlando. The ambience was fabulous and the environment was bustling full of mostly young, hip, people. We started with the oysters and olives. The oysters were tasty and fresh, however the flavor was overshadowed by the saltiness from the olives. I typically love olives and my husband typically hates them, but in this case we were opposites. He actually really enjoyed them. I hate to say it but I found them disgusting and almost inedible. The warm, brininess was too much for me! On a much more positive note we shared the margerita pizza and shrimp broccolini pesto ravioli and both entrees were delicious! The ravioli was fresh made, we could have devoured another full portion. The pizza was very authentic, the sauce a perfect mix of zesty and sweet. My only feedback was around the crust, which was just a little burnt and had it been less burnt we could have enjoyed the flavor of the pizza more. Aside from that we loved the entrees and wound still go back and try more pizza! The service was excellent! We would be regulars if we lived here.

Just OK. Although it was my first visit, unless I have a terrible experience I try not to put too much weight on the entire experience. I will come back, but it will be with restrictions. First point – we had a very uncomfortable table (sitting at a high top), where the stool architecture makes it very difficult to rest your feet, unless you are an NBA player. When I asked the hostess to switch to a booth, we were told they were reserved for larger parties and the timing of those reservations prevented us from using the booth. The ENTIRE time we dined, NO ONE occupied ** ANY ** booths. Second point – we ordered Mussels as the appetizer. The presentation/plating was excellent, the amount of Mussels was seriously underwhelming for the price. (Note to mgmt: Urbain 40). Third point – our server was Extremely knowledgeable and courteous – Great job !. Fourth point – our Pizzas were VERY GOOD. We may come back, unfortunately it will only be for the Pizza, and only if we can sit in a booth – or up front where they have normal (height) tables and chairs.

One of the best spots off of Park Ave. Has some of the most amazing Italian dishes, all farm fresh from local markets. I had lobster ravioli and their Diablo pizza, and both were amazing. Definitely a place you would want to go. & not that pricey for the caliber of food served there.

Probably the best meatballs I’ve ever had! I should have had two orders:-) The Mustard Spaghettini Cacio e Pepe was a great twist to my favorite classic. I would order it again; however, it’ll be the pizza next time. Tiramisu was also delicious!

Great spot for lunch or dinner or just a drinks! Place is totally beautiful with rustic look and great atmosphere. Big bar area and outside searing. We enjoyed it very much!!!

Prato has great service knowledgeable staff, but the food which is described wonderfully does not impress me, either in taste or the small portion. This along with the high price leads me to not recommend this restaurant to anyone.Kevin Cunningham

If I go there, it is totally for the atmosphere and drinks and not for the food. I have always been disappointed with the food there, beside the fresh pizza, the rest is not worth the price BUT the location and the design/atmosphere is absolutely awesome! Same owner as Luma on Park, they don’t take discovery so beware!
