Don't judge a book by its cover. This place looks amazing, the decor and image projected makes you want to come in and try one of the seemingly endles…

Poor Service / Good Food and Beer. We enjoy going to Taps when in winter park village. they have a great beer selection and a couple of good cocktails, however on this visit service was poor. The bartender who was almost fine with her shift at 5:30 was complaining to the bartender coming in about things. She said she didn’t think any of the specialty drinks were good, but when I asked what kind of good drink she could make she said she didn’t have the ingrediants to make anything good and usually likes coders mixed with juices. she wasn’t helpful or attentive and it was slow. just negative all around. the bartender coming on was much better and so was the girl who ran our food out to us.
Poor service. Servers come up with excuses why items on the menu are served incorrectly. Overpriced. Do not waste your money or time here
Terrible service. Overpriced. Don’t even bother.
We don’t know what made us nauseous first…the food or the bill. Don’t waste your money or time. This place will be close within 12 months….restaurant was empty…deservedly so.
This place has the potential to be AWESOME. It’s just not there yet. The atmosphere is great. We had the nachos which were fantastic, and the rest of the menu looked good too. The fact that both the wine AND beer menus are extensive is a huge plus, but it is all way too expensive. Beers that would cost $5 or $6 elsewhere cost $8 or $9 here. Happy hour specials aren’t anything to write home about. Service was not good. The server was new, and she did try, but we had to flag her down every time we needed something. Reading the reviews of others, seems like this is pretty normal.
Never a bad experience. I’ve been to Taps several times and always enjoyed myself. The staff is friendly, and the food and drinks have never disappointed.
Last night after dinner my wife and I stopped in for a beer. She had the sweetwater 420 draft. Great. Five bucks. I decided to try something new. I had a bottle of an imperial ipa, unearthly. Granted it was a large bottle but I was blown away at being charged $19 for a single bottle. What makes it worse is that to me it was below average. No heads up from the bartender. Weak!
