Don’t judge a book by its cover. This place looks amazing, the decor and image projected makes you want to come in and try one of the seemingly endless libations advertised by bottles and taps on the wall behind the bar. I had been wanting to sample their wares for some time and finally did last night. I should have picked up on the fact that at 7:30 on a Saturday night when all of the neighboring restaurants were crowded it had one couple inside. Although the beer selection is vast, the wait staff seemed annoyed that we were there, not warm and friendly or inviting at all, and although the environs would suggest elegance and class, a table pour where the wait staff leaves the empty beer cans on the table would contradict that. The food was atrocious, we ordered the beer cheese nachos for an app and the roast beef sandwich mini’s. It was ice cold (cold pre-packaged cheese like from a skating rink, except the skating rink serves it warm) and the sandwich was completely flavorless, I’ve tasted cardboard with more character and flavor. Sooo if you want a different beer and rude wait staff go ahead, but there are many other venues in the town cheaper and far far better.
