Amazing experience. We went to check this place out since all of the positive comments. I will rate in two categoriesPro’s:* Great idea to have self serve mine (limits staffing needs) and people get what they want.* The wines are served at optimal temperature and you choose 3 different serving sizes.*The place is beautiful and huge and you can buy the wine by the bottle.*The place is open to the entire public and you can go from to back and look around, mingle and check things out. *You control your spending by the card they give you and preload how much you want to spend.*They do offer a regular bar and food options also.*Ingenious idea people come and go as they please, mingle and hang out with friends and family.Con’s*Expensive WOW! Between the two of us we spent $60.00 on wine tasting. You can easily spend over a $100 sampling wines one night and not even order food.*Ordering food was a chore. You have to hunt down a wait staff person and beg for a menu. The prices again for any and everything are very high (The luxury of an upscale wine bar in a fancy neighborhood)*LOUD you could not hear anything. The floors are stone or tile and the walls are too. With a busy night the place was just this loud roar and you have to lean in to hear anything. (Bar / night club type of atmosphere) It was a neat experience. Would I do it again probably not. I am not a night club person and this had that kind of feel without music. It was also packed. You had to squeeze by people. It was a fun but nothing I would do again.
Fantastic Wine, Great Food, Good Service (Except for the cashier up front). I love, love, love this place. The food is amazing every time, the wine selection is wonderful and constantly changing, and the servers are very attentive. Only one complaint, the host/cashier when you first walk in to put money on your wine card basically asks for a tip, very rude.
