Good. Calamari fried lightly….not greasy served with good marinara. Meatballs and spaghetti very good, also had the special which was lobster ravioli. Took a pizza home and really enjoyed it also. Definitely go back. Prices were not outrageous. Very good service.

Inconsistent food. Well now they do take credit cards and the menu in house is different in price than the on line menu I have ordered about 15 pizzas from them and they were ok. One night my husband came home with Fettuccine Alfredo for me and it was marvelous. My friend came for lunch and we went, We had the stuffed mushrooms, awesome, they had crab, lobster, and scallops, trust me it was so good. Later again I took my boss there,he loved the food though the stuffed mushrooms that night only had crab in them and were rather dry, i was disappointed and apologetic to my boss. That night it wasnt worth the $ and it is a lot of $, nothing is cheap there you can drop 40 on lunch for two. The next month my husband brought me home the Fettuccine again and it was a small portion maybe a cup compared to the 2 cup or so portion I had been receiving. The sauce was just a white cream sauce and I determined no cheese had been put in it. The cheese in Fettuccine is a strong tasting cheese called Parmesan and As the cheese melts, it emulsifies the liquids to form a smooth and rich coating on the pasta, I believe this place uses a roux of cream and perhaps a thickener such as flour or it could just be the freshly made noodles, anyway..I called and told the owner she had accidentally left the cheese out, Did you eat it she asked, I said yes, and explained my husband was sick and already in bed. She said ok when you come in remind me and I will take care of you. Well I took my son and his wife there and I explained what the `part owner` told me to say when I got there. We completed our order, our dinner, and when we went to pay the 80.00 bill I was told that the owner said she had fixed that dinner herself and she knew she put the cheese in there. So shoot I am guessing this lady is `perfect` and never makes a mistake. If you hit on a good day it will be the best food you ever had but on a bad day its barely mediocre at best.

Acceptable food. I have been there a couple of times usually while I am getting my car oil change done across the street. Food is acceptable if you want to get a quick pizza/lunch time. Food could use a bit more flavor. My take is that they cater to the taste of the customers who live in the area who tend to be 55+. I asked for garlic powder/spices and the manager gladly brought it over. Manager and waiters are very friendly and checked on my table often. It does have a wine list with so-so wines.

Real pizza. Piccola Italia as well as Sergio’s nearby have authentic Italian American food. The proprietors of both places have Italian roots, and their food is a good as one will find in neighborhoods in the Northeast with substantial Italian American populations. The pizzas are as good as one finds regularly in NYC, though rarely in this part of the world. The rest of the menu has decent redsauce and generous portions. This place puts to shame the chains like Pizza Hut who have made pizza into something bizarre. This is not a pretentious place; it will serve very good food at low prices.
