Went for the first time today and was very pleasantly surprised. From the outside, the restaurant is very unassuming. Once inside, you are transformed into a fifties/sixties style diner of sorts. Your first view is of the large high refrigerator filled with delicious and homemade pies… Which are all a must try! (We had to get our desserts to go since we were stuffed after our wonderf dinner)The food was great, the staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere made it fun even for my seven-year-old. And the prices were the best part!We will definitely be making The Sunrise Eatery a monthly family experience.

MUST GO!!! This diner is a gem in the middle of the city. Always packed, which is always a great sign! Food is fresh and made to order! My family has never had a bad experience. The owner John and Manny are super friendly and out going. They walk from table to table and greet each guest. Take my advice and try if in the area!!!!
Without a doubt, the best meatloaf EVER. Service was great too. I understand they serve very good desserts, but portions are so generous, I’ve never had room.
