It’s an excellent place for meat. Their house bread is delicious and the prices are reasonable. Good for meat lovers. My favorite is the Parrillada. They also have a good selection of wines. Malbec goes great with meat! Nice and friendly atmosphere and family operated. You can’t go wrong with La Nueva Argentina.06 Sep, 2009Great vacio steak, sizeable lunch portions at a great price. Not pleased. Stopped in here for a lunch while in town visiting my Argentine husbands family. Their prices are completely ridiculous – and they were completely inflexible for any substitutions. We asked for some provencal sauce on the fries- even if I paid a few bucks more for the sauce and they said it couldnt be done. Also the lunch specials come with white rice and an iceburg lettuce salad -neither which are eaten by Argentines. We got up and left.
It’s not a great restaurant, but it’s good. Portions are huge and the taste isn’t bad, but it’s a bit pricey. Service is average. We didn’t dislike it, but didn’t like it either.
We wanted to try this restaurat today. When we arrived it wasire than half empty. We were a party of 5. They refused to give us a table for 6, insisting that we squeeze into a table for 4 because later they might get a party of 6. We left. Thus they did not have Yo be inconvenienced by our party of 5. Very poor customer service.
Two can eat for the price of one. Great food. It’s like eating at home. We will return soon.
