THE BEST FRIED SHRIMP IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE! If you go, you absolutely must try the fried shrimp. They are perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and just amazing! The other seafood is delicious as well, but the shrimp is legendary. There is a crazy long wait but trust me, IT IS WORTH IT.
First time visit. You have to register at the window before you can be seated. This ensures that there is seating available or soon to be and they let you know how much of a wait time you may have. Well, we ordered the pork chop dinner with two sides and your choice of bread. We had corn bread which was good. The vegetables were nice and you didn’t need to add anything. However, being the pork chops were deep fried, it could have been down a little longer as they were a bit tough. All in all, the food was good. Tomorrow I’ll be going back and give you a review of what lunch was like again as the regular joints are boring. So, for now, O’Steen’s seems to be the go to place. It’s very affordable and they also have daily specials.
