Took advantage of the sale at the bodega, afterwards Stopped In & tried the tortilla soup, was delicious. Took a good while to prepare. It has onions, strips of chicken, chunks of avocado, stewed tomatoes, zucchini, summer squash, & carrots. The decor as you can see from the pictures is very authentic & imaginative. Always clean with a great staff. Great parking, after 5:00pm valet parking is available. A lot of walk in guests for lunch takeout. Great prices & location. This time had the tortilla soup with a cantina salad
Delicious Breakfast/Brunch!. I’ve dined at No Mas Cantina a few times and have really enjoyed the food. Adios Cafe, which is inside No Mas is coffee/espresso bar that also serves plenty of baked goods, chocolates and breakfast/brunch items. It’s been on my list for quite some time now & they only offer breakfast daily from 8am-11am. Since I’m not much of a morning riser nor do I live in the area, I was ecstatic when I happened to be in the area around 9:30 or so. Adios is gorgeously decorated and everything about it is SO charming! My server Danielle was friendly and attentive. I decided to order the Mexican eggs benedict & chocolate mexicano. The eggs benedict was DELICIOUS! Loved the masa cake, perfectly poached eggs and the green pepper hollandaise. The avocado pico was also a great touch and fresh. I took home a cupcake and some truffles for dessert-the cupcake wasn’t as good as I had hoped, but the truffles (especially the coconut and tequila strawberry) were delicious! Overall, an amazing brunch experience at Adios and I can’t wait to dine here again! bellavivere.blogspot.com
Cafe good, no mas bad….. Adios cafe sits juxtaposed against some of the worst Mexican food in Atlanta. The good thing is that No Mas, encompasses what you would expect to find in a creative Mexican bakery. I have had the chocolates, the Blondie, and the positively absolutely most fabuous cheesecake in Atlanta, the Avocado Lime cheesecake. This is a superlative. I wade through the unassuming diners at a No Mas, to try the delecible delights of Adios….
Mexican Hot Chocolate. Went to Adios Cafe at No Mas! as a part of the SugarComa tour. The breakfast spread that they put our was great! The pancakes were great as were the twist on the eggs benedict. Not to be missed is their mexican hot chocolate. Absolutely delightful!
No Mas is the bomb. Me and a group of friends went for Cino de Mayo. The atmosphere was awesome. Alien-Mic
OK Mexican. I’ve been here once before but I was hammered, so this is actually my first sober review of the place. Location is great because I love to see this part of town developing in to something more than what you’d expect. It’s quirky, colorful and inviting, for the most part.Service was so-so. We sat at the bar and it took about 10 minutes before anyone greeted us. Yes, I said TEN MINUTES – unacceptable. Especially since it was only 5:30 and the place was not busy. Bartenderess was pleasant, but disconnected; she didn’t seem to be all there. The food – once we were greeted, we started with a couple of margaritas. OK, but a bit too sweet for my tastes and not enough tequila (see first paragraph). Salsa was yummy – smokey, rich and delicious. Chips, not so much. They weren’t bad, but they were all broken – the largest piece I had was maybe the size of a quarter. Ordered off the DARW menu and started with some really, really good calamari. I mean, probably some of the best I’ve ever had – not at all rubbery and wonderful flavor. Then, I moved on to a chicken dish which was so-so – can’t even remember what it was comprised of now other than some mashed potatoes (really?!?) and green salsa – not enough cheese, either. Flavor wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t sensational, either. After eating more of the smashed chips and salsa, I was stuffed so I brought my flan home and it’s calling my name from the refrigerator right now. I’m going to assume it’s tasty – it’s flan for crying out loud. Maybe I’ll have it for breakfast. Oh, and the thing that bugged me the most – why, oh, why, would you put a 6 foot PLASTIC palm tree in the middle of your restaurant? I mean, there’s plenty of light in there for a real one and it would have been so much nicer and authentic than the dust-covered fake monstrosity currently residing there. Just a thought. I’m a Virgo – these small details don’t get by me very easily.I will go back, though. I like it, regardless of it’s flaws. Adios!
Fajitas are the bomb. They are very good. We love to order the Fajitas for 2 with Chicken, Steak and Shrimp. Sometimes we order the Salad with Steak for a lighter option. They have killer margaritas and a great patio. We were actually drinking mojitos there last night- also very good.
