Great as a restaurant and as a bar, fun place to hang out regardless of time of day. The food is fantastic. I have been for brunch, lunch and dinner and have not been disappointed. They are very quick with takout or call ahead orders so if you live in the neighborhood that is a great option. Great beer and cocktail selection, a must try in the highlands.
Would have been great to have tried this place after all the great reviews. We were a party of six with out of towners and wanted to go out for a special evening but with reservations to avoid the long lines. We booked a reservation at 2 PM for 8 PM. Fail. We were told that while yes, we have reservations, we wouldn’t be seated yet. We waited thirty minutes before being told we won’t be seated. In short, don’t bother making a reservation as they aren’t honored. They should take that detail off that they offer reservations.
Planned Event. Rehearsal Dinner planned for 37 people.Planned an event and always had if there is anything else and we are happy to help. The truth is neither of these people were there at the event or even in the building on a Friday night when they truly seemed desperate for the business. An Excell spread sheet of the order was emailed to Heather and to another in charge of the event. We did not receive what we ordered and the manager told us that what they presented was what we ordered!! The trays were presented WITHOUT SERVICE WARE…people were having to find silverware. It was so dark no one could see what was on the trays. We were told we could just plug into the speakers for music and the Manager said because the tables were 4 inches over to the left he could not reach the connection nor was there an electric plug or lamps to light the food. We had to turn on the big screen TV to begin to see the food!Only 60% of the guests showed up and we were still short of food! A $45 Artisan Cheese tray was as big as a dinner plate and only has some sort of melted white cheese and another white cheese and no service ware.
First and last visit.. I ordered the black bean cakes with guacamole and sour cream. The cakes were fairly tasteless and the guacamole was not fresh. The fruit was not fresh either. Pleasant outside dining atmosphere, but the food was sub par. I will not be going back.
From Birmingham, Al and came in for a braves game, LOVED this place super nice and amazing food! Loved it all to the service, food, to the drinks! Want to go back ASAP!
I was looking forward to trying somewhere new for brunch. I was so disappointed my omelette came out watery and the biscuits came out cold. It was gross. I’d give it a 10 out of 30. I’m a food snob. Go to Parrish, Home Grown, or Ria’s Bluebird for brunch. This place should just be a bar and not serve food at all.
Awesome food! Try the big green egg smoked wings. The veggie plate is also surprisingly good.
