Waste of a date night. Being relatively new to Atlanta has meant plenty of new places to try. We love The Iberian Pig in Decatur and since Barcelona was rated the same, we thought it would make for a good anniversary dinner spot. Wrong. The food was Applebee’s quality, and we were very disappointed. It’s a shame because it looked like a nice place, but the food misses the mark completely. I cook very often and we consider ourselves foodies. If you want great tapas, don’t bother going here.

Love this place!. This is one of my favorite places to eat. I eat here often with friends. Service is wonderful, and the atmosphere is great! Love the patio! My first visit, I was by myself and their service made me feel like a queen. Thank you Casey for making my first visit great!

Birthday Delight. I went to Barcelona to celebrate my birthday with a group of friends and had such an amazing experience! I hate when restaurants make a fuss and sing to you, and so I asked the waiter not to do anything – and he didn’t sing, but he did bring an order of tapas (patatas bravas) for the table with a candle on the side, and then they also brought me a class of their house champagne and a card signed by the entire wait staff. It was so thoughtful! They really tried to make my night special!! The food and the red sangria were both wonderful too.

To be seen. Ate there last night. Lovely restaurant, very popular with a younger crowd. Placed in a small area with a group of young women working on 4+ margaritas. Extremely loud. Nothing on the order or bill was right. Even though we did not complain, the manager came over apologized and gave us an appetizer to take home and comped a couple of dishes. Just a bad night in the kitchen? Food was ok, but better are available unless you want to be seen.

Love Chef Happy. Chef Happy is a wonderful addition to Barcelona. I didn’t think it could get any better than it already was but with Chef Happy behind the wheel it has! He is so innovative and the food is to die for. This whole restaurant is so incredible.

Unique, flavorful food. Attentive, helpful service. The atmosphere brings a special sense of occasion without being stuffy. Get the whipped sheep cheese.

This place is a has been. There was mountain of potential for the Barcelona chain when it opened in Atlanta. The place is nice to look at with an interesting fireplace patio. The food was good and dependable, not great.Fast forward past the exuberant summer crowd, an exit by the head chef and a few managers later the face of this restaurant has changed for the worst.Tricks and hype dont work long in Atlanta. We see glossy places that come here and make lots of cash at the beginning only to be shut down when they dont give decent service.Service is spotty at best. Bartenders have gotten cocky here and I wouldnt waste my time.I would go to Ecco instead.16 Dec, 2013This place is a has been.
