Came in for brunch. Bone Lick is located on the first of floor of what appears to be condo or apartments. The whole first floor is commercial space and there is free parking in the garage. Outside seating is limited but inside is pretty spacious and has awesome decor. There’s also a stage inside which looks like there is live music here as well. I ordered the Hangover Muff aka Porkgasm. Between an English muffin is a PILE of pulled pork, brisket, sausage, and bacon with an egg top. It was seasoned well and didn’t need anything else. You also have your choice of hash browns & grits. The food did take long so make sure you are not in a hurry when you come – its definitely worth it though! I can’t wait to come back and try dinner.

A 3.0, in my opinion, is fair for the time being. I will update it when I return.I have been going to Bone Lick every time I’m in Atlanta, since the day I discovered it 2 years ago. I always make a way to get to those Big Ole Balls. The food is ever so consistent- delicious! But the service is definitely not. The first two or three times I went the service was just fantastic, but gradually gotten worse and worse until I decided it was time for me to post my review. Today there was a fire in the kitchen. A fire. They didn’t shut down and they didn’t turn away customers. They didn’t even tell the customers that came in after the incident (me) that the fire department told them to shut down the kitchen until they get it fixed. I waited for a menu for about 7 minutes and didn’t receive my drink until after I had been there for about 10 minutes, mind you there were about 8 people in this restaurant, they weren’t busy. After waiting about 45 minutes for my appetizer, I get the news about the fire that happened BEFORE I arrived. Why wouldn’t the wait staff tell us all there will be delays because of ____ before we ordered? You knew there was a fire, you knew I would be waiting forever for my food, do the right thing and give me a heads up instead of making everyone wait while you provide terrible service. I watched new people walk in and after waiting too long, have to ask someone at another table to borrow their menu. Two people walked out, they ordered their food before me and I still received mine before them. I finally made it through my meal (that all arrived at the same time) and waited another god-knows-how-long for my check. Dear Bone Lick, I love you, I really and sincerely do. But, lately your service (front and back of the house) has been letting me down. You’re my favorite place in this town, but you’re service is going to drive us apart. Please coach your servers or find new ones. I believe that everyone deserves a second chance and that staff does too. Give them the knowledge they need, and maybe some spirit to excel and do their job well. I will be back, maybe a month or two but I will be back and i really hope that your service improves because your menu, your flavor, your sass, your idea of a good meal is on point. All that needs improving is how you deliver it to me. Thank you.
Seemed like a cool place. When we got there we were sat outside in the sun with no umbrella. We moved ourselves into the shade. 15 mins later we finally ordered drinks. After waiting a total of 35 mins without our order being taken we just left. Will never come back.
Owner roofing company. I went by the bone lick bbq today on my way to the music store. I had read somewhere where two hollywood actors had visited bone lick. I thought to myself if these two guys from california go to lick it’s got to be good. So i tried the combo brisket flat no taste,sausage the worst i’ve ever had and the ribs,they were fair. The owner needs to come to alabama to try our bbq!
You can’t leave without trying the Big Ol’ Totties. So freaking good!
The Late-Nite Ribs are Great! The Dry-Rub needs no Sauce but they have multipal favors to capture the taste you are looking for! $1 per Rib can not be beat anywhere in Atlanta (on the Late Menu!)I recommend this BBQ Joint!!
Best brisket i ever ate. Mac is great. Chopped pulled pork, ribs are yummy. Awesome service. I love the music and decor.
