Fantastic. Service and food was great, I will be back soon.

Highly Impressed. While visiting Atlanta a friend recommended a restaurant near Cafe Circa. After getting poor service before ordering we left and went to Cafe Circa instead, and I am SO glad we did. The lamb appetizer was so amazing that we ordered another one. The oxtail entree was equally impressive. We were so thrilled that we attempted to come the next day for lunch and upon finding they weren’t yet open, came back later in the day for dinner. The whole snapper special was amazing as well and the service was fantastic. I will definitely be back!
Finally Satisfied. This was my first dining experience at Cafe Circa. Started off rocky because our reservations for a party of ten at 7:00pm was actually recorded for 10:00pm. Then we were seated at tables near the door which only accomodated 6 people. After speaking with a manager, our party was moved to a larger seating area. The drinks were great! The bartender is on point! We had the wings, salmon and shrimp & grits. The food was full of flavor. My shrimp and grits were missing some shrimp, but the manager quickly corrected that. Although we had a few issues, I will return. Our server was friendly and the atmosphere is inviting.
Negative Staff & weird portions. I recently went to Cafe Circa and was excited about the menu. Upon arriving our party was reminded over and over again what time we had to leave. That is not good customer service. The hostess seemed agitated that we even showed up. The drinks were good, but our entrees were kind of small. Better to get the steak because it was portioned right. Then our dessert was huge, also good. Event though the food was ok, the staff kept making us feel unwelcome. Probably will never go again until they change management.
Hmmmmm….. I had a friend flying in from L.A. and wanted to have have a great dining experience. I had it on good authority, that Cafe Circa was the spot! I checked it out earlier , by peeking through it’s front windows and was impressed. I made my reservations. I had to push back the time, and that went well, without incident. We arrived and while waiting for the rest of the dinner party were invited to sit upstairs. It was very chic, with the couches et al, however the remaining table was directly in the evening sun, and we sat roasting. There were no umbrellas, and subsequently, we left, the patio, and returned inside. We ordered drinks, I a pear martini. It was beautifully presented, but turned out to be weakly prepared, sweet (which I like) but lacking any punch. Our appetizers were the crawfish fritters and the plantains, flavour was fabulous, unfortunately both were under cooked. The fritters were not thoroughly prepared and were a little sticky on the inside and the plaintains, had a slight crunch. We ordered entrees, the lamb burger, and the the oxtails.. The lamb burger was heavily salted, but mostly edible. My oxtails were very dark, but so was the resturant. they were not warmed through. The meat was tepid, and the chili was a little too heavily distrubuted, it was almost bitter. The meat was properly cooked so much that it fell from the bone ( a good thing). The purple potatoes were done well (Thank-you). I continued to try, and ordered dessert, a peach cobbler, (Which I think was actually apple? not sure) It was delightful! yummy, sweet ,gooey, beautifully presented, as well as warm, with a hint of lemon Sooo good! It came with ice cream, ( which I could forgo as it did not add anything to the cobbler). The wait staff attended our table promptly and they were polite. In defense of the resturant, there had been some sort of kitchen event, where something or another had blown up. I did however enjoy my evening with my friends, who inspite of being very particular, seemed to like the food. The ambience was good, but the music, a little too loud. I haven’t made up my mind as to wheter or not I will return to Cafe Circa, there are too many other FabUloUs eateries in the A, and life is too short. But we shall see…
Veeerry Huungry at Midnight!. I was so very hungry at about 1am in the morning and someone suggested I try this place. It was very good. I ordered a couple tapas and a alcoholic drink, I can not remember the name, but I will tell you the bartender was very generous that night! I can not complain I was impressed.
