Oh, yes! A must stop.. While living in Atlanta Chanterelle’s was always my go to spot for soulfood and I went as often as I could. I regular meal was the rosemary chicken with dressing, their shrimp creole is very good, yellow rice and macaroni all good, the corn muffin is definetly made from scratch, tastes like hot water cornbread. The dining room is dark and no ambience but the people are nice and that waiter (can’t think of his name, I think he has an accent) is alwasy nice, smiling, making coversation and caters to you. Pro’s: good soulfood, priced right, money’s worth. Cons: sketchy part of town.
Love this place. It doesn’t matter what you order, it’s going to be really good. i like the curry chicken and the mediterranean shrimp and of course the rosemary chicken. but i have also gotten a veggie plate and been just as satisfied.

WONDERFUL. I’ve been going to Chanterelles for the past 10 years and I am hooked on the Rosemary Chicken / Early Peas / Yellow Rice… and have to get the Fruit Punch… The best kept secret in Atlanta.
Great Soul Food Without the Grease. I highly recommend the rosemary chicken.
