Food was just okay for expensive steaks but the service was very bad. I know it was a big weekend for Atlanta, but dang plan for it (its no surprise after 30 years). At dinner time they were out of several things which I found strange, but the strangest part was the two hour plus dinning odyssey. Im sad…M is a big streak eater…we were hoping for something new.
Horrible 1st time experience… thumbs down . The waiter was very homophobic. I told him in the beginning of the night it was my husbands birthday and when its time for desert to sing happy birthday. He assured me that was no problem and he would definitely bring out desert and sing happy birthday. After the dinner was served by a bus boy, he waited until we were finished eating to check up on us again. My husbands Cuts Ribeye signature steak was ordered medium rare, which should be pink throughout with a hint of red in the center. It was rare (touch or seared brown around the edges and bloody cold red throughout. It was tough to cut and chew, but he ate it because he didnt want to take a chance sending it back and having it come out overdone, and besides, the server (an older Black man named Brandon), didnt check on us until the end of the meal so it would have been too late to send it back anyway. When he finally checked on us, and asked us if everything was ok, my husband reluctantly told him that he was disappointed in his steak because it was too undercooked. The waiter only stated, Why didnt you tell me and I would have had it recooked? We explained we didnt want to take a chance having it come back out well done, and everything else was ok otherwise. End of the night came and he said the kitchen is closed, no desert available and just hands us our check and walks away. He never brought out a birthday dessert, sang happy birthday, or even acknowledged my husbands birthday by saying Happy Birthday. Meanwhile, he definitely knew about it, and we watched him Sing Happy Birthday to a young black woman at the table across from us, which was a party of 6 young black women, and made a point of telling them that her dessert was on the house. I even went out of my way to compliment the waiter on his singing voice. Theres no way he could forget about my husbands birthday. I was upset, so I asked the bus boy to speak to the manager. I wanted to leave only 5% tip to teach him a lesson to pay better attention, but my husband insisted I give him at least 10%, which I did for my husband to feel more comfortable and not embarrass him. When the manager came over, he apologized and said he understood why my husband didnt want to send back the steak, and said he was sorry about the waiter missing my birthday, and offered to bring out a free piece of cheesecake, which he did. On the way out, my husband was humiliated as he overheard the pos bigot/homophobe Brandon complaining at the bar to the bartender, another server and in earshot of the manager that he refuses to sing happy birthday to him, which obviously either meant a white man or a gay man. If he didnt want to sing happy birthday to a man, he should have sent over a different waiter or waitress to do it, or at least acknowledge his birthday. My husband was so mortified and pissed that he demanded to see the manager again and complain about what he overheard. The manager apologized again and said he was talking to him at that moment trying to get him to stop, and that it was unprofessional and he would address it with him. The manager should have comped our meal, or at least my husbands meal. Horrible service.
Went downtown looking for steak n ale and found that cuts steakhouse had moved in. Great location, plenty of parking, decent prices, definitely an upscale steakhouse, very clean, great staff, cozy atmosphere with views of downtown. Worth a second visit.

Cuts has great staff members and the food is great. I was served the best tasting steak ever from a restaurant. I would most definitely dine there again.
Happy customer. I went for valentines and I had a pretty great experience! Great steak and even better service
Horrible. Dont go. Not wasting my time on this review. To many nice restaurants to waste your money here. 3 Hour miserable experience
