Why did it take 45 minutes to get an appetizer Kayla? And why were you so rude Kayla? We will never come me here again and just moved 2 blocks away. First impressions mean everything Kayla. You wrecked it.

It’s my first visit in Atlanta and my friend took me there for dinner. There aren’t many people when we arrived. We were seated and attended to right away. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had fried green tomatoes, grits, chicken parmesan pasta and a salad. They were all good. Overall, it was very good. A must try when you visit Midtown Atlanta.

Made a reservation for around 9 on a Saturday night. We arrived with no line (seemed odd). Noticed several open booths in the dinning room. Was brought to the tables next to the bar. The bar was mostly full but we were the only people at the tables surrounding the bar. The strong smell of marijuana was overwhelming. We asked to be moved to the dinning room section. Sat down, waiter was not personable. Had to ask about the specials which seemed to be a bother to him. Ordered Humus plate to start and seafood cakes and T-bone steak. All of this food was great. Also ordered a side of the cheese grits just to try them. They probably had been sitting in a heating bay all day as they were as dry as can be. Never got any refills from the waiter. After asking for the check and a Togo box we got the check. Took our check and credit card and set it down on the ledge between the booths and went back to work. Lucky we were able to keep an eye on the credit card sitting there for five minutes as it was exposed to whoever wanted to walk by to grab it up. Eventually the waiter grabbed the credit card went to the back for another few minutes then returned and suddenly sprouted a personality and thanks us. We have been coming to Einstein’s for 15 years. Food for the all those years has been mostly fantastic (excluding concrete cheese grits) this visit the service was horrible. Shame because it’s such great place.

This place is a must try for brunch on the weekends. If you’re the outdoor kinds, definitely! The food is sumptuous and fresh, they do have daily specials and a DJ spinning the 80-90’s hits in style. I was mightily impressed by the music and service. A very pleasant Sunday afternoon!

Einstein’s is in a good midtown location. Within walking distance of Piedmont part and convenient to several area hotels. Great outdoor seating area with a huge tree for shade. 10 of us came in for dinner and drinks. We tried several appetizers. The fried green tomatoes were good, but it was a small portion…only 3, so not great for a crowd. The shrimp and grits were thick and cheesy. We all enjoyed it. The manchego fritters were the bomb.com though. Drizzled with honey and chili oil. Very delicious. I went with the herb crusted lamb for my entree. It was a bit more done than I ordered, but it was still very good. The pesto mashed potatoes were creamy and full of flavor. All of us enjoyed our food. I have only one negative things to say about the place really, there is a metal chain curtain separating the bathrooms from the dining area. All I could think of when going to the restroom was how many people probably didn’t was their hands before leaving and moving the curtain out of the way. I’m not sure how you would even clean the curtain very well. It kind of grossed me out a little. Friendly service though. Food came out within a reasonable amount of time, drinks didn’t run empty, the server took good care of us.

Perfect Saturday Brunch Experience. We went to Einsteins on a Saturday for brunch. This place has been around for years and it has been well maintained and updated. I hadn’t been in 15 years, but the energy was still there. The food was wonderful and extremely reasonably priced. The service was fast and friendly, although we noticed that the seating hostess was rather dismissive. My server was training another new server and they were both attentive, friendly and efficient.. Even the music was great and I think they were setting up to have live music just after we left. How much more can you ask for at this price point? This is one of the best places to eat in Atlanta and excellent value. Sit outside if the weather permits, you will enjoy this meal!
