Pretty Good. The pizza was great. The shrimp, scallop, and arugula salad needed something sweet to balance the bitterness of the arugula though. Service was also good. I’ll be back.
Had to wait for a table for 2 hours and the service was horrible. No one updates you on when you will get a table and hostess are unable to give you correct wait time!!
The Real Deal. Fritti is Real Italian Pizzacertified Neopolitan as a matter of fact. It IS NOT American style, so if you go and are expecting that, you may be disappointed. While American style piles tons of toppings and processed and canned things on your pie, the Italians are more subtle and use fresh often only in season ingredients. If you have ever been to Europe, you know the difference. A cheese pizza here, Quattro Formaggi or four cheese, uses ewe (Pecorino), water buffalo (Bufala), an Italian Alpine cow (Fontina) and a classic Swiss valley cow (Emmenthal) milk cheeses. The Ananas e Gorgonzola is sharp yet sweet balanced perfectly with fresh pineapple and 12 year old balsamic vinegar. The wine list is superb, the wait staff knowledgeable and attentive to the right degree and the cost is better than fair, affordable and well worth the trip from anywhere in town. Across the street Valet parking free with a validated ticket if you cant find a spot on this bustling trendy neighborhoods strada. Forget the trendy wannabes with their over the top pricing for gloried American gourmet toppings, this is the place for the true taste of Naples.
The pizza was just ok. Nothing terribly special.
Have been waiting for more than 50 minutes to get a table although having a reservation – why do I need a reservation then. Especially if mine is cancelled if I run a couple of minutes late
I don’t understand how fritti has this many good reviews from my experience last night. Server was unfriendly, pizza had brunt outer crust with a doughy center. The only good thing I can say is the atmosphere was really unique, and reasonable beer and wine prices.PS: if u order an app the calamari was good, stay away from the fried mushrooms.
Good Atmosphere. I have been to Fritti a number of times. I would say the pizza is very good but not greatttt. If pizza is what your interested in there are a number of better pizza places in town. The atmosphere is very good and to sit in the garage area in the winter with the heaters going is very nice
