Bait and Switch. They don’t always honor their specials. I ordered something off the specials list and was charged full price. First the waitress tried to say what I ordered wasn’t the same thing and that a special wouldn’t be on the actual menu (a lie, all the other specials listed for the week were also regular menu items). Then she changed her story and said they weren’t honoring the specials during a special event (convention) but hadn’t been able to change the menus yet. The event wasn’t starting until the next day and there was no signage anywhere to state this. If you have one price on the menu, then you should honor it. It’s not my fault you didn’t make changes in a timely manner. What I ordered was good, but I don’t give dishonest establishments repeat business.

As one who enjoys pubs, we were disappointed but had a nice dinner; service was great; drinks got us buzzed.
Gibneys. Good food , friendly staff, great beer , but the cigerette smoke is a real TURN OFF! If not for having to inhale other people’s smoke, this would be a great place downtown!
Fantastic, very attentive service. Good portions and great selection of beers on tap. Fun crowd.
Cool bar / Bad service. The food was ok once I got it, but both times I went and sat at the bar I was alone and both times the bartender tried to pad my bill/tab a beer or two. I will not go back to allow them to try and rob me again.
Worst Restaurant Experience Ever…. I have never been treated with less respect from a restaurant’s staff. The food was garbage and the service was not much better. Upon asking to speak to the manager, she promptly arrived with an attitude and I was asked to leave. When I looked at my billing statement online I noticed that they had overcharged me by $63.00. I am now having to work with the bank to settle this claim.
Pretty good. I’d go again.. They have the most fabulous horseradish dip for their onion rings and the chicken fingers are recognizably chicken, not pressed/extruded. The burgers and nachos are pretty good too. Reasonably priced. They do takeout, which is helpful if you’re at one of the local hotels and don’t want their overpriced crappy hotel sports bar food. DO call ahead if you order take out.
