Fresh, hot and crispy fried chicken – what could be better? How about adding Mac and cheese and baked beans with friendly service. The chicken is billed as hot but does not really register on my spicy scale. But it was cooked fresh and very good. The Mac and cheese – stovetop version was very tasty as well. The beans are a step above canned. But you are there for the chicken and that is worth the trip.
