GREAT PLACE!. We visited the Tap for the first time in 2 years Saturday night, and absolutely loved the new menu, and the fact it was smoke free. We started off with the 3 Georgia Cheeses served with crackers…omg it was delicious. My b/f had the Brasstown NY Strip, and said he it was cooked perfectly and had a wonderful flavor. I had the grilled Salmon Salad and was equally as pleased. Afterwards, we shared a slice of the coconut cake, it was delicious! We highly recommend the Highland Tap, will tell our friends, and will be back soon. Keep up the great job!
Great prime rib be a man and go for the king cut queen only average. Brussel sprouts great! Yes great! Sweet and tender. Enjoy!
Great Steak Burger. Went with my parents to Highland Tap last night for their famous steak burgers. Made with trimmings from ribeye, strip, and filet these burgers go down very well. Although I never perceived the place as a steak joint I imagine the steaks are just as good. Too good and too close to my place not to go back regularly.
Go for the meat!. My parents and I wined and dined at the Highland Tap last night, and we experienced exceptionally excellent service both from the bartenders and the waitress. It has a cool dark and smoky atmosphere, but one complaint I have is that it is pretty loud in the dining area. My mom and I were not thrilled with the fried chicken and seafood fettucine. They were good, but they didn’t go over the top for us. My dad’s prime rib, however, was phenomenal! Perfectly cooked and simply delicious like a great piece of meat should be. Next time I will definitely order a steak off the grill.
Really really good!. Went out with the girls on a sat night,my first time here. Everything was top notch and I am PICKY because I am a cook myself.That being said, we all had amazing meals and great service. PLUS the place is in a really cool cozy old building, and I love that kind of thing.It’s like a secret hide away : ) I can’t wait to go back there with my hubs. A+
Great Martini and late night food. The Highland Tap is rightly well known for the great martini that it serves up. But what is less well knows is that the Kitchen serves up an excellent steak late into the night. The classic version of French Onion Soup.
Sunday brunch is yummy. Great brunch and fantastic bloody marys!!! what else needs 2 be said… nothing just good food good service and good drinks. thats what brunch is all about
