Not the best tapas option in Atlanta but it has a lot of positive qualities despite that. Loca Luna has great specials so heading there on a weeknight is always a good option. On the weekends there is a band and lots of dancing which is fun and gives the place a very upbeat vibe. The ambiance is nice, sort of dark but fun. The sangria is pretty good and the tapas are as well. It is a great place to go for a birthday or a girls night out.
Bien. Stopped by last night with for tapas and drinks anf had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and our server was attentive even as the restaurant filled up. We tried several items and enjoyed each of them. The civeche was flavorful and not overly acidic. The tuna tartar was amazing…sweet from the mangos and a touch of salt for balance. The lamb chops, bacon wrapped shrimp, and queso frito were all excellent. I would recommend stopping by. It seemed like there were numerous larger parties with reserved tables so I would look into making a reservation.
The manager sucked!. Food nothing to write home about, Sangria was mediocre. Management needs to be retrained, but the new waitress was good.
Nice fun atmosphere. I love the live band and dancing but due to the noise it never fails that the server forgets something on our order. The drinks are just ok along with the service but the food is great.
My type of place. Food is good , the drinks are so so, but love the live music.
Mixed feelings. Went for a friend’s bachelorette party. The maid of honor negotiated a set price for all of us prior to arriving which was wonderful. The food was GREAT, but the sangria had some things to be desired (tasted fine but lacked alcohol content). The weather was nice, so we were seated outside – unfortunately right next to where everyone was outside smoking. I might as well been seated in the smoking section – not cool. If there was some sort of barrier put up on that one open wall, the amount of smoke would have been greatly reduced. Will probably return, knowing now what to expect.
Service A Little Iffy!! But…. The service was slow and a little disjointed, but the food (when you got it) was hot and fresh so I was not upset at all. The atmosphere was GREAT! Happy people everywhere and I do mean everywhere! At our table we enjoyed the Scallops, Nachos with steak, Chicken on Skewers, Calamari and the Frozen Mango Mojito (very good on a 98 degree day). Our table of 10 enjoyed all of the selections. The food was seasoned well and pleasing to the eye. I will return.
