This Place Sucks. I’ve been to Mangos a number of time in order to get the full experience, my opinion diminished significantly each time. Their tofu was pretty gross and dried out. Yes, one could argue that tofu at a Jamaican restaurant was not the brightest idea. However, I did have their fried plantain and it was dry and discolored. I feel that it’s pretty hard to mess up fried plantain. Moral of the story- don’t go here (not to mention it’s located on a sketchy street).

A taste from my childhood…. Came back to me as soon as I took a bite of the kallaloo. We wanted to find someplace that was walking distance from our hotel but not either a $$$$ steak house or a chain fast food place. This place hit the mark. The service was pleasant and informative (given some of the unusual menu items), not rushed and yet not absent. The food was fabulous, spiced just right, cooked just right. Will definitely be one to remember to return to.
Fantastic!! We had the Jerk Chicken, Goat Curry and Ox Tail. All were rich in flavor. Absolutely loved it. Kallaloo (a spinach side) was also very good and worth having.

Great Carribean Food. I love the food here being of a caribbean decent I am very critical of the flavor of food being sold in the caribbean restaurants wherever I may travel, most of them just want to put tons of pepper or spices in the food and call it caribbean but that is not the case here the food is sesoned to perfection so that no matter your experience with caribbean food ou will enjoy the flavorfulness of the food itself without just tasting a bunch of pepper without enjoing the actual taste of the food.
Ripe Off!!!. These people charged my card more than the actual amount. When I called to complain, they produced a botched receipt claiming I added a tip. Will never return.
