Atmosphere is good,service is fine,but definitely not authentic Chinese food,totally Americanized.
I loved it! Great service and pretty quick. The waiter even brought us a salad when my girlfriend ask and they don’t have salads on the menu.

Consistently Good. I’ve been going to Mu Lan for years. Consistency has always been one of their strong points. The food and service have always been exceptional. Their lunch menu averages around six or seven dollars, which is a great deal for midtown. The pork with garlic sauce and the Szechuan shrimp are standouts for me. I recently broke character and ordered the Mongolian beef. It was the typical Mu Lan meal, great. The staff is always friendly and efficient. Mu Lan has never disappointed me.
NEVER, EVER disappoints!. I’ve been there more times than I’d like to admit and EVERY meal has been, in a word, fantastic! I could go on and on, even list examples of why they are great but there’s no need. Great food, staff, prices, and location is what keeps Mulan’s the BEST Chinese Restaurant in Midtown and beyond! If you want neon colored strip mall quality food, ya better move on.
Great food, laid back atmosphere, and good service. Small seating area, but provides a more intimate experience.
