Coustomer service 099. I just had a terriable over the phone experience with the young lady who answered the phone on feb. 5,2013 @1:30 pm-wed. she was so rude@!###$%^&*. please change your attitude young lady and then at the worest she put a young man on the phone who was as rude as she was.all we where trying to do was get information gesssssh! please learn to be respectfull to your coustomers. I will put the word out . being from miami flordia ( 8th street bbq) so, so , so disappointed. please this is bad for business…. where is wanda smith?
I liked it. I ordered a barbeque sandwich. It was very good. There was a lot of meet on my sandwich.
Real talk, this place beats it all. This place is unbelievable, we got the scout mob free pulled pork sandwich, no strings attached, 100% free so we took advantage. The owner is a down to earth, generous guy who believes in his cooking and totally hooked us up. Don’t be fooled by the modest exterior, the food speaks for itself, nothing should stop you from going in and experiencing this for yourself. Free sandwich or not, I will definitely be coming back.
BBQ. Been here for 10 + yrs and havent been able to find a taste of south Florida as i experienced today. Loved the ribs and chicken. Put me in the mind of Hawkins in Hallandale only a different flavor sause. Will be back again and bring family when they visit from down south
My Experience. I ordered the rib dinner and chose the green beans and potato salad as sides. The green beans tasted as though they were straight from the can with no seasoning. (I wanted greens but today is Wednesday and they don’t serve them until Friday). The potato salad was mediocre at best. The barbeque sauce tasted like honey mustard seasoning with hot sauce. Two pieces of white bread came with the meal and it both pieces were stale. The ONLY thing that was ok was the meat and that was because it was seasoned and very tasty. I feel I wasted my money. I was very disappointed, especially after reading all the good reviews. Needless to say, I won’t be going back.
Mouth watering Ribs and chicken. My family and I ate at the Mustard Seed on Easter eve. Yes we waited a bit, but it was definitely worth the wait. Both the ribs and chicken were well seasoned. And the sauce put it up there with Ray’s sauce. I think if they sell the sauce it will do good. It is much better than the ribs you get from certain restaurants that boil the ribs and the sauce is the seasoning.
This is the most slept on BBQ joint in Atlanta… I grew up on certain BBQ joint on Campbellton Rd. (Oh how the mighty have fallen)… but THE MUSTARD SEED blows past the competition in both taste and service!No more hour long waits… this sauce alone should seal the deal but the sides are divine as well… price tag not crazy either. If you havent been…GO!
