I thought the food and service were excellent. I came here for an end of the semester celebration with one of my friends and we requested a table to overlook downtown Atlanta. The drinks hit the spot and the food was exceptional. I would highly recommend this place!

READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING ESP IF YOU HAVE KIDS – Waited an hour for the food, snooty…. Waited an hour for the food, snooty (think Ferris Bueller) service from the start, as soon as they saw we had (oh the horror) kids… and then arguments from the waitress when the meals turned up. I know all the other reviews say this place is awesome (hence why we went here and given we are staying in the hotel and wanted something other than burgers) but our experience was awful. Mistakes and delays happen. I know that. Bad attitudes from the maitre d through to wait staff and chef deserve the Abe Froman treatment. For the non Ferris Bueller fans than means avoid ESP if you have kids.

One of the best fine dining experiences I have ever had.

Great anniversary dinner spot. We had a great meal with a polite server. Unfortunately, our surrounding tables were a bit noisy, but this isn’t the fault of Nikolai’s Roof. The house vodkas were novel, and the food was mostly fantastic. The beef carpaccio was still frozen, though, which was a little disappointing. Overall, though, we got a great bang for our buck with the multi-course meals and would definitely recommend this spot.I suggest using a Golden Hour calculator to select your seating time, that way you are settled in your seat just in time for the prettiest time of day between afternoon and sunset. Then you’ll watch the sun set and the lights come on as you dine. It’s very nice. spatialdrift.com

Treated me like a princess. The food was wonderful. This is upscale dining. I showed up casually dressed and no make-up and they still treated me like royalty. I was very impressed with their quality of food, service, and the overall dining experience. I highly recommend them.

Closed for Rennovations. This restaurant is located on the top of the Hilton Hotel downtown Atlanta…the one connected to the Mariott Marquis by a walkway. The renovations have taken longer than planned as the restaurant was supposed to be open on January 7th, so we we were bummed out that we were unable to try out their food on January 28, 2014. I believe they told us it would be open by mid February.

Spent a wonderful evening. The evening began with a trio of Piroshkis and Burgundy Snails. The Piroshkis were beautifuly flavored and the snails were tender and the best I have had in years. The entree was the Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb which was the most delicious I have ever experienced. Dessert was the Hazelnut Financier and it melted in my mouth. The entire experience was a gastric delight!
