Beautifully decorated, bustling regular crowd. Very good food. A must visit when you’re in Atlanta! The parking is tight, young regular crowd, they have 2 floors and they sell jewelry, handbags and more made by the natives. Love the atmosphere, you feel as though you are dining at a cantina in Mexico. The salsa is fresh & homemade, the food is delicious, right temperature & spices, & the prices are commensurate with the dining experience. A definite stop for authentic Mexican food & fun.Hubby & I went for Cinco de Mayo… waited 2 hours to be seated, they had a full bar with music set up outside & portable potties. They were selling ponchos & cowboy hats for a minimal amount. The waiter was efficient & delightful, the place was jam packed & the inside bar was running over. They had a live band upstairs & customers seated outside upstairs on the veranda. The wait was well worth it. The temp & taste of the food was great….had the tres leche cake, always a favorite.Went back on Saturday to the merchant mart…. the furniture, jewelry, handbags, pottery…everything was extraordinary, such vibrant colors….such detail as if each piece was made with special care, the artisans are extremely creative & talented & the prices are very reasonable. The staff are superb, they all had smiles & were very helpful & genuine. The atmosphere along with the decor I love. This cantina is by far my absolute favorite!
