Went New Years Eve started with the olives and cocktails. Next we had one of everything on the hot menu. Then beef tartar heritage pork loin and a dumpster salad. There were four of us and we all shared everything. The food was wonderful and the service was over the top and friendly. Nice will be back in the future.
Kinda unwelcoming and not very informative. The only nice person was the bartender and even then, she took the drink order of person who enter a couple minutes after me before serving me. Also, I literally just watched a cockroach crawling behind the counter near the countertop fridge at the bar. Not eating here again.

I had been desiring to go here for some time and the long wait was met with a satisfying conclusion. Setup reservations and was greeted by the friendly staff. The inside of the place has a nice clean look with a hint of wild game on the walls to match their cuisine. First we started with a bottle of wine (they also offer some local craft beers) and a order of fried Escargot and Smelts that were great but needed a extra splash of vinegar. For the min courses we had a Chicken Thigh dish that was juicy with a crisp outside. The second was a Cod that was good but the least impressive out of the dishes. The third was one of the most tender and perfectly cooked beef flanks I had ever tasted. The last was a Trout with a smoked roe that was out of this world amazing! For dessert was a sorbet that was so creamy and a German Chocolate cake that was fantastic. This was easily one of the best meals I have had in Atlanta and I will be back due to their daily changing menu!
Good BurgerWe went there for lunch for a dish recommended in Creative Loafing, but it wasnt available. So we settled for a soup which was OK, but lacked any richness in the flavor. The pea salad was nice, but some peas and slices of radishes for $12?Our server told us that they did have an off-menu item of their hamburger which had been voted best burger in Atlanta magazine. It was an excellent burger and came with some OK but slightly soggy fries. It isnt a particularly fancy restaurant, but prices are quite high. The setting is pleasant and service was perfunctory.Around the corner is the very nice Proof bakery which has excellent coffee and desserts.
One Eared Stag is cute and quaint, located off the beaten path in Atlanta. The menu is eclectic and fantastic. The only issue was the floors were really dirty! So, sit at the bar and you won’t even notice.
Once had a wonderful Squid Ink Spaghetti with Sausage Meatballs and once had an awful Pear and Fig Gallette. The atmosphere is awesome as is the neighborhood but the food is hit or miss. Defintely worth a try or a return trip but maybe thats all.
