Came because of all the great reviews, but was so disappointed. I ordered one of their specialties, the Masita, and after nearly an hour waiting for it, the pork was dry as sawdust and literally every component of the dish was bland. The salad came with no dressing, and we waited and waited for our server to come back by our table so we could ask for some. He never did. Not even once, to fill our drinks or ask how our food was. I had to take both of our glasses to the bar for refills. Eventually our check was brought by another server (it was someone elses check, on top of everything else). I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone.
As a 1st generation Dominican, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit! The drinks were phenomenal and the food made me feel at home. It was clear to me that they care about the product going to the table. Our waitress was also knowledgeable and down to earth. Make sure to sit back and relax as the wait time for food was moderate but well worth the wait. Also, ask some Papi sauce!!
