This was the worst visit ever! I never leave reviews, however I feel like I would be doing disservice if I didn’t write something! My husband, daughter and went here while on a weekend visit to Atlanta. We waited 20 minutes to get seated in a virtually empty restaurant, on a Saturday night mind you! Every time I tried to order off the menu, the waiter said no, don’t get that. Until I said fried chicken. Tried to order off the kids menu for my daughter, she wanted the catfish and Mac & cheese. His response, the mac & cheese is made with smoked gouda, she won’t like it! I also wanted fried green tomatoes, was told don’t order them, it only comes with 3?!?! So, our food comes. Popeye’s has better chicken than this place! There was no flavor at all. And since I grew up in a small town outside of Savannah, I think I know fried chicken!!! Service was awful, food was gross and over priced, and then to to it off…..THE WAITER HAD THE NERVE TO MAKE A COMMENT ABOUT LEAVING CASH FOR THE TIP, SO UNCLE SAM DOESN’T KNOW WHO I AM!!!! Who says that?!?!?
Charming place. Convenient for us because we stayed at the Westin. Dishes were generous in size, but they ran out of many staples. Our server rushed us to order because they were super busy, messed up our drink orders, and never offered dessert which was sure to be the best course. We were eager to escape the poor server so left quickly. Disappointing…

Phenomenal food! Such a comfortable and relaxing setting too!
Uniquely amazing!. We had a fantastic experience wile out of town in Atlanta at Pittypat’s Porch. If you like good food, I highly recommend this establishment. The atmosphere was a bit overwhelming for us at first glance, but we quickly acclimated. You really do feel like you’re dining at a side table in someone’s home. So, if you’re looking for high-end ambiance, this might not be the perfect spot. However, we were in search of delicious food and were well satisfied. We will definitely be back as soon as we can. The hostess stole the show!! Her personality is flawless for the atmosphere of this restaurant and she did a stellar job handling the bustling Valentines Day crowd.
Go for the atmosphere & DRINKS, not for food.. First let me say I am from Georgia, & lived here my entire life. And I have always eaten my home cooked real, farm fresh southern food. Love the atmosphere. Makes you feel like you are at Aunt Pitty’s. Service was beyond EXTREMELY slow. The waitress did try to explain why it was slow(blaming the kitchen) but it wasn’t just the kitchen. We had drinks, and I watched the bar make it quickly, but our waitress kept walking by it without picking it up until I said something. We were at our table for 1.5 hours (2people) & only had appetizer. It is overpriced, but you are downtown. Management did resolve my complaint promptly, however they were having to put out a lot of complaints around the restaurant, as I watched in my spare time. DRINKS ARE AWESOME AND WORTH THE $, by far the best thing they have going for them. Is a bit of tourist trap-since the food is knock-off southern. Needs a REAL southern cook, preferable one that know what a cast iron skillet is for. I think the menu, kitchen & staff need a major overrall-Gordon Rasmey style and this would be awesome!
