One of my favorite restaurants. Food is delicious, staff is wonderful and the ambience is nice also. Beware, available parking can be hard to find on weekends. Other than that I frequent this place as much as possible.
One of my all time favorite places to eat!. Food and service ate simply extraordinary!
Differently Good. Foods are awesome! Price is reasonable! Too bad I moved further away south. If I have a chance I will visit again.
Good food, service, and atmosphere. My girlfriend and I tried this place for the first time today and were very impressed. The service was good (constant water refills), the food was delicious and fast (took about 5 minutes), and the atmosphere was clean and smooth yet exciting. There was a bar which provided the liveliness but we sad all the way across the room which provided us with needed privacy. We had the beef satay appetizer, which is skewered beef with peanut sauce, and it was delicious. She had the spicy chicken noodle, which was perfect, and I had the Pad-See-U, which was good but could use a little more spicy. I wonder if you can ask the kitchen to spice up any dish, even the ones without the peppers on the menu. And don’t let the $$$ discourage you; a good filling plate of noodle, rice, curry, or stir fry is only around $10, it’s only expensive if you try the special entrees (18-20). Overall, I will definitely eat here again.
Very pleased…and going back!. I must add Surin to the list of my favorite Thai Restaurants in town. I visited Surin while showing Atlanta to some friends. We ordered four different plate and four appetizers to share. Everything was fresh and delicious. The breading on the crispy calamari is fluffy and crispy, not a thick heavy crust. The pot stickers are served with a nice mild red curry sauce heavy on coconut milk that presents a wide range of intermixed flavors that makes it extremely interesting. We also tried out their spring rolls and crab cheese cakes, both light and fresh. Dinner was incredible: flavorful lamb chops (a little too small and thin for my taste and they come with a nice serving of shrimp fried rice), interesting snapper on a vinegar/pineapple base sauce, incredibly presented and prepared Basil Duck with two sauces in the side (sweet soy sauce and peanut sauce). The fourth plate was Shrimp Fried Rice. This rice was sweet and light on salt and heavy spices allowing for the real rice taste to shine through. Plenty of decent sized shrimps and enough to feed two people. To summarize: We cleaned every single plate and cleared the table! The prices are reasonable and our server was excellent. We are going back.
Great value. Love this place. the coconut soup is great, and if you like fried rice you’ll love Surins fried rice.. the rice is moist, the meat is juicy, and cold tomato & cucumber slices add great texture.
Don’t expect to get authentic Thai here. I separate my friends into two categories: those that like Surin and those that do not. Those that do I very quickly learned that they do not have the ability to differentiate between authentic food, and food that has been tamed and mutilated to appeal to the taste of the masses. Surin is very non-threatening, but there is much better Thai food out there at a much more reasonable price.
