Went for Valentine’s Day, traffic was horrible! Yellow tape down the whole block of the restaurant . Never found the 717 Carnegie Way, supposedly their parking validated for $5.00. Parked around the corner & took the walk in heels. Took me 15 min to find parking & another 10 to walk around the renovation causing a traffic jam. Atmosphere cozy. Food better be the bomb. The live music was great, I think they added tables for the celebration, we were so near the kitchen, very tight. The price was reasonable & the food turned out to be great. Very good fried chicken. Will return, but not for a holiday.

Never fails. Third time here from visiting Atlanta and it’s still gives us chills. We look forward to eating here. The food is good and the Staff is goodbSo good, my bff took home two salmons to her family in and I took home the sweet fried chicken to my family. If you ever have a hangover from the previous night, the grits is a must! My friend had the shrimp and grits and she ate soooo slow to savor the taste. Lol Sweet Georgia’s is a must when you come to Atlanta.

The moonshine was good. It would probably be best to have one or two. The beans seemed like the whole box of brown sugar was in my bowl – way to sweet. The Mac and cheese was good just average. The star was the chicken most definitely it was friend nice and crisp and juicy but was not hot just warm which was disappointing. .

Absolutely amazing! I just ate at the location in the airport. Had the fried chicken sandwich, with fries, southern Mac n cheese, and sweet tea. It was awesome!

PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE. What an awful place. At first it was great. They had our reservations and seated us promptly . Then it turned awful. The food order was wrong. We never received straws. The service was extremely slow. The restrooms were filthy. When complaining to the manager named Sunny, he was extremely rude and would not agree to compensate at all. He has not respect for his customers. Most of the waiters are liars. They tell you one thing to satisfy you but it ends up being another thing. I’m so upset. This is my second bad experience here and I will never return.

Did not reach expecations. After reading several reviews, my wife and I decided to try this place because it sounded great. We were seated right away, but it took a few minutes before our server got to us for our order. Our food came out very quick, within 5 minutes of our order, which was a little disappointing that we did not get to enjoy more of the atmosphere before we had to eat. I ordered the pulled pork and it did not have much flavor. Our server suggested the mac and cheese because it was a specialty of theirs, but it did not stand out. I can say the fried green tomatoes were very good. My wife ordered shrimp and grits. The grits were more like a broth and were very watery. Our server only came back for refills once during our visit, and gave me the wrong drink when he did. Service, food quality, and price that we paid are reasons we will not go back. Seems like a fun atmosphere for music and drinks.

Entertainment was great. That was it, service was slow at every step. Being seated, placing order, receiving food. Once we received the food, (Seafood Gumbo, and Chicken and Waffles) it was mediocre at best. The gumbo was not hot, and chicken and waffles was average. Nothing special, I would return for the entertainment, but you have to buy food while seated.
