Had dinner here tonight with friends. We ordered- tamarind spring rolls to start with, followed by pad thai chicken noodles, tofu and vegetables green curry and green curry with chicken and beef. All our dishes were amazing and we enjoyed the food. For dessert we went for fried banana and the chocolate mousse and they both turned out to be delicious too! This place was a great find and definitely coming back here for some amazing Thai.

The atmosphere was great; however food was subpar for what you pay. I had the Pad Thai Shrimp and Tom Yum Seafood soup. The Pad Thai lacked flavor and came without any hotness, which is not how it should be made. I added two peppers but the flavor was still weak. The Tom Yum soup had too much herb flavor and did not come with the straw mushroom specified on the menu. Adding some chili oil and cilantro will make it more complete.

Question is what am I doing in Atlanta. Well the answer is that my work got me here. Went to this place which I had visited last year. Distinctly remembered the taste of their penang curry. Dare I say, the taste hasn’t changed one bit. It was delightful to have with your steamed rice. Service is quick, and it’s one of the few places in the locality that serves Thai food. #Shabaashe

Authentic Thai cuisine right in the heart of midtown Atlanta. Large menu to choose from. Fast and excellent customer service. Great for bringing clients, the family, or eating by yourself.

If you’re looking for good Thai this place is perfect. I ordered a Penang curry dish and it came served in a golden colored (brass maybe?) bowl that was sitting atop a golden cylinder that had a candle inside. Genius. My curry stayed warm the entire meal. The food tasted great and I felt cared about. I went with my boyfriend and it was a really great atmosphere for a date, we ate outside and it’s a great view of the surrounding buildings and people walking by. The inside of the restaurant also has a good atmosphere. If you like Thai you should definitely put this on your bucket list.

Tasty Thai in Midtown. Tamarind Seed is located in Colony Plaza, very near the arts complex that houses the Atlanta Symphony, Alliance Theater, and High Museum of Art. So it is a great location for pre-show dining. The restaurant is pleasantly elegant but not stuffy. The servers are extremely cheerful and friendly. Cocktails, such as the Lychee Mojito and the Wild Pear Martini are great. We enjoyed the Tom Kha Gai soup and the green papaya salad. For entrees we had Chao Lay which was a mix of seafood in a delicious sauce. The Kai Pad Prik Kingh was sliced chicken with green beans in a great curry sauce.Unfortunately, we didnt have space for dessertso another time. I would definitely return.
