Just ate here with alshena as our server and it was great! We are visiting from Columbus and walked here because it was close to our rental. Awesome awesome service! Great food – great hospitality! We shared the tomato salad and beef tartar and then had the shrimp sausage bucatini (recommendation from our waitress) and we were thrilled with everything! If/when we come back to Atlanta we will make the trip back here… Delicious
The brunch is pretty good but the service is pretty terrible. I have been three times and each time have had an awful server/host interaction. Once I went with my inlaws at 9:50, ten minutes before it opened for brunch, because we didn’t have a brunch reservation and we wanted to get seated and out of there before the rush came. The host was so rude to us, saying we should have made a reservation and she didn’t know where to put us. The entire restaurant was empty as we were the first ones there. My husband thought she was joking but we soon realized she was not. Patrons did not start rolling in until well after 10:20 and we were basically done with our meal by then because our waitress rushed us through ordering. She heard us talking about what we wanted from afar and came up to us with our orders already filled. It was so bizarre. The food is actually pretty good and the ambiance is cool but the oddly rude behavior of the staff makes me wary to recommend. It is cool that it is on the beltline but there are other good brunch options in Inman.
This place has pretty good food but the service is terrible. Our waitress ignored us for the majority of our visit while she just stood around doing nothing. The hostess ended up taking our food order and was ultimately more attentive than our server. We noticed this trend as we witnessed 4 other tables complain about the service. Not a bad spot but they need to look into getting servers that wo actually take care of their tables.
Bad Brunch. We’ve been here a few times in the past, and it was good. I will not be back, because I went there for Sunday brunch as my parents were in town to celebrate my birthday. Eggs Benedict was overdone (i.e. hard boiled). Another sunny side up egg was completely cooked. Ordered corn beef hash that was just a bunch of potatoes and beef chunks. Service was poor and slow. Drinks were empty. Server acted like the cook mixed up the plates, and I felt like it was an inconvenience for them to redo the plates.
Mixed experience. Great ambience and service, we had table of 5 ordered a bunch off apps and small plates all were outstanding. Entrees were disappointing, 5 bite size pieces of monkfish swimming in sauce with a huge pile of green beans, corned duck was dry , pork shoulder dry not much flavor. Desserts not much better 3 dollops of chocolate cremaux with peanuts and 2 bites of ice cream, dry butter cake with rock hard sorbet. Overall we had a nice evening wish we had stuck to more small plates and skipped entrees.
Great meatloaf. We went for the summer supper, which was a fantastic value for really good food. Started out with some popcorn with brown butter on it, simple, but tasty. Next came visalia onion soup. It was really good, and while the cheese puffs were interesting, I did miss the gooey cheese you usually get with onion soup. Our entree was meatloaf, which was so delicious! The gravy with it was so good, you had to get it all, which worked out really well, because the sourdough bread put on our table was also incredibly good. Our dessert was a pound cake with berries and sorbet and we had no problem getting that down. Loved the atmosphere, sitting outside, service was great, the manager was very friendly and made us feel comfortable. All in all, it was worth the drive and we would definitely go back!
Some of the food was good. The pork chops were fatty and served cold. It took an hour to be served. Be leery. SAW
