Great service and wonderful food. Waiter steered us to try somethings we probably wouldn’t have tried and they were excellent suggestions (thanks Jimmy Smalls….what a wonderful welcome to Atlanta. Biscuits are incredible. Everything in the biscuit was incredible. The grilled Mac & Cheese is perfect!
Really not worth the wait. I was not at all impressed by the sugar biscuits or the bland tasteless food. Not my cup of tea for sure ! If you are a vegan or other type of veghead I am sure you will love the tasteless mess they serve up here.
First visit here for early morning breakfast and was not disappointed! Loved the atmosphere and staff and the pancakes were delicious. The serving was huge and We ended up overeating.
It’s all about friendliness and swag, you walk in to a homey, tight, cozy space. The staff are like your friends, and the patrons are just as happy. Their claim here is their biscuits and grits. Though the grits weren’t my fav the biscuits and their delectable turkey gravy was like molten flavonoid chunked nectar. I loved it. I would go back just because of the staff but I can’t wait to go back tomorrow and try their other menu items.
Awesome! You have to try the grits!!!!!! I got the chicken sausage gravy and it was delicious with their fluffy biscuits!! I would definitely recommend stopping there when u get a chance.
Fast service because its packed all the time! Small place and tables are so close to each other. Your service will be busy all the time but food is delicious.
Delicious southern-style breakfast. Flying Biscuit is a must each time I visit Atlanta. It’s always busy and a little loud. The delightfully tacky vinyl floral table cloths and the scream of the cappuccino machine have a sort of Pavlovian effect on me….it makes me need gravy….and you can get it on just about everything here. Their biscuits are amazing, as the name would imply. Try the eggs, biscuit, and gravy for biscuit perfection topped with scrambled eggs and chicken gravy served with a side of creamy grits. The breakfast bowl is a favorite of mine as well… Fried green tomatoes, turkey bacon, and eggs served over grits. It’s all good. And don’t worry, you will make the pilgrimage back to the Flying Biscuit to try everything eventually. Go. Go right now.
