Food okay, but services was terrible. The owner / manager had a loud, speaker phone conversation that ruined the experience. We will never return.
LUnch buffet was good service was incredibly slow
Ate out in the dinner and had a big crawl across my food. A spider to be exact. Management offered to just re-grill the same steak and still charge me full price for it. Totally and completely unacceptable. If they do this in front of a patrons face what is going on in the kitchen? I WILL NEVER eat here again and will warn everyone not to as well.
Group of 8 in Atlanta for trade show. Belly dancer was fun entertainment. Weather was great for sitting outside. Service was very good. Baklava was excellent.
Delicious food, relaxing ambience, and excellent service. I had fish, my companion had lamb, both were delightful–moist and delicious. The vegetables were flavorful but not overwhelming. The deserts were yummy, and even the bread was light and tender with a nice crust. We both cleaned our plates! The service was incredibly attentive without being overbearing. We didn’t particularly care for the belly dancer (she was fine, but the show was touristy, and it’s a gimmick this restaurant doesn’t need at all to bring in diners). Our overall experience was excellent and I would definitely come back! For vegetarians and vegans: they have some nice dishes for you as well!
We went back. The excellent Turkish food we had for dinner brought us back for lunch. We had the buffet, every part of which was excellent. A very good deal for $10. The desserts were top-notch too. The staff are knowledgeable and able to explain all the details of the food for those not familiar with Turkish cuisine.
Great dining experience. We were staying at the Sheraton for a convention and I saw an in house video at the hotel about the chef at Truva. He was making Iskandar. On the video they said come visit us and we will make it for you. It is not on the menu. Well Truva is right up the street from the Sheraton so we walked there for lunch. The wait staff was very pleasant. I told them about the video and they said they didn’t make Iskandar for lunch. But then the owner decided to make it for us. It is a bed of garlic bread topped with marinara topped with shredded beef and lamb and roasted red peppers topped with marinara and melted butter. It is served with fresh yogurt on the side. It was incredible. It was more than enough for two so we shared it and gobbled down every last bite. We had a Mediterranean salad with it. Absolutely delicious. The owner and wait staff were very courteous and the service great. But it was after the lunch rush and the restaurant was not too busy. Would do it again if ever in Atlanta.
