So many things to praise about this restaurant. The sushi is incredibly fresh and well presented, the ramen is easily one of the best in Atlanta, the servers are very attentive and food is promptly delivered even when the restaurant is busy. I eat here several times a week and if my budget allowed, I’d probably eat here every day. Having said that, the ramen plus two is very affordable and a great value. I wish they had a vegetarian/vegan friendly ramen option but that does not stop me from returning regularly as they are extremely accommodating when it comes to altering a dish. These reviews commenting as to the service from a long time ago must be out-dated because I expected to see that this place had at least a 4 when I looked at the reviews. (I literally made this account so that I could refute those claims – I feel that strongly that this is one of Atlanta’s best restaurants).

My brother-in-law is a ramen fanatic. He is constantly searching and trying locations. He lived in Japan for a bit in his teen years and is searching for a place that gives him that same experience. He did eat two bowls of ramen here not because they are small but because he loves it so much. It’s not a place for white people who won’t brave feeling the fullness of their whiteness as almost all the clientele and staff is Asian. However, I always look at that as a good sign. If I’m the weirdo whitey eating this food, it’s probably authentic. I got a spicy tuna roll and I also got a tempura veggie appetizer. Our food came out when it was ready, so in stages not all at once. Personally, I prefer this to letting my sushi sit in some window until someone else’s ramen is done. Our server was friendly, and quick on refills. The experience was one I’d repeat next time I’m in town.
Absolutely terrible service! I went there and it was busy, and our table was pretty much ignored by the server. Our ramen was waiting in the window for a good 6 minutes and we were just looking at it. The server brought it over and we tasted it and was room temperature… ramen should be very warm/hot, not luke warm. We had to track the server down for every little thing and asked for a new ramen because ours was sitting out for a while, the noodles were too soft, so she rolled her eyes. We had to track the manager down and he said he was too busy to talk with us, so he said he will be right back. He was just refilling waters, he wasn’t too busy at all he was just roaming around ignoring us. So we told him we were just going to leave because he was so arrogant and being unprofessional. We saw a lot of other people being aggravated with the service as well. When we tasted the ramen it wasn’t good anyways. I’ve had much better tonk ramen at many other places in Atlanta.
