Nice Theatre. CineBistro… has nice seating and a very spacious theater. The food is good. If you dine in the theatre, expect to pay 17.5% gratuity will be added, however if you choose you can request to remove it.. Also there is the option to dine in the lounge before or after the movie. When dining in the theatre, you will need to order prior to the movie, so expect to arrive within 30 minutes prior to showtime. Overall it is nice to visit for an upscale experience and the price is higher than the average theatre…but movies these days are expensive anyway. I like the comfortable leather style loveseats, with trays the push away. For 2 people you can expect to spend $50+, unless you simply go to watch the movie and eat somewhere else. If you are just planning to watch the movie and no plan to eat/drink…then it will cost around $25 for 2 movie tickets before 4pm and $30 after 4pm (2 tickets).I love the reserved seating choice. When you purchase your tickets, you choose your seats at that time (at the concierge desk or for online ordering). It is also nice to know that the staff will not be walking around during the movie, but the down side is, if you want something else to eat/drink, you will have to go back out. So it is best to arrive early and order up for in-theatre dining.

The problem is you eat on a tiny tray, not conducive to holding a meal, beverage, and popcorn or sharing popcorn. Servers immediately present the check, but don’t mention 17.5% tip is included. The whole process is rushed and a mess. If you actually eat in decent restaurants in Atlanta don’t expect to like the food. The servers are rude and demanding even if you sit down the minute they open the doors. If you leave the theatre to order anything at the bar, the servers are surly and slow. Won’t be back.
The cinebistro in atlanta downtown Brookhaven is racist. They never show any iniciative to show any urban movies. I am a fan of Cinebistro. I visited the one in Short Pump,VA quite often and they keep a wide variety of selection. Please get it together. I guarentee you will make more money! #aboutlastnight
The atmosphere was the best part about my experience to say the least. I do recommend that you get there on time because my boyfriend and I got there about 10 minutes after last call for orders. We had to go to the bar and place our order (as opposed to sitting and being served) then go back and pick the order up when ready(having to miss some of the movie). The biggest issue I have with this is customer safety. My boyfriend kinda burned himself carrying the hot plates back into the movie theater. I definitely think that they should consider bringing the order to you at least after you’ve gone to the bar to place it (the seats are labeled). The food was incredibly over priced for the taste. I’ll be trying Forks and screens next time.
Horrible! Over priced food. They were out if the two things I wanted to order. You can’t eat while watching ur movie, and forget getting there early to try to eat because they call u in ur theater only 30 min before movie. O and if u want dessert or beer, then u better order it with everything else, because they bring everything at one time, and that’s it, u only get one chance to order everything and it all comes out at once. Isnt that the point of a theater that has food….to be able to eat and drink throughout the movie? Uncomfortable chairs with a school house tray on the side of it so forget about cuddling with ur sweety. Then they bring ur food out on a flimsy tiny table in front of u so be careful not to move ur legs around and knock it over. Fork and screen is much better, the tables go across and the chairs move freely behind, and the staff is much happier. And their prices arent outrageous. The only thing about fork and screen is they dont always have the latest movies, but that is not a problem for me most of the time. If u truely wanted a dinner and a movie experience then do not go to cinebistro, go to the fork and screen in buckhead.
We live right around the corner and were very excited about its arrival in Brookhaven. The first couple times we went were good, however, the last two times we have been, the food has been terrible. Sadly to say, we won’t be eating dinner here again. The calamari only had about 4 pieces on top of a box of popcorn and the food had sat too long under the heat lamp. Needless to say, for a bill over $100, it is definitely not worth it. Go see a movie here, the seats are very comfy, but don’t waste your money on the dinner.
DMS. Great place to see a movie. Very clean and comfortable and the lens projectors have a great image.Bad news is they need a decent Chef and a mandatory tip for a waiter that does not have enough brains to bring you a napkin or salt and pepper is ridiculous.
