Great Sandwiches. My fiance and I stopped in for lunch today. The market has a nice selection of beer, wine, and cheese, as well as some H&F bread! They also make sandwiches and some dishes you can take home and heat up. The staff was very friendly and helpful.I went with the Buford sandwich, while my fiance went with the Carter sandwich. The Buford is a southern take on a bnh m sandwich that has chicken liver pt, roast pork, pickled carrots, sour cucumber, jalapeo and cilantro on baguette bread. It was very tasty, but I did find the pt a little overwhelming; it tasted good, but the sandwich could have used less of it. The Carter was the real winner. It’s house smoked turkey, smoked Gouda, dried cranberries, pesto aioli, mixed greens on sour dough bread. The sandwich had really nice smokey flavors from the turkey and Gouda and the cranberries added some contrasting flavors that made the sandwich very delicious. I was quite jealous of her sandwich, in all honesty, and wish I had ordered it. The Buford was good, but the Carter was excellent!Overall, Savi is a nice little market that fits well in Brookhaven. I look forward to my next visit here so I can have a Carter all to myself and to try some of the other specialty sandwiches, as well as their breakfast menu.
