The baked goods at this place are insanely delicious. The sugar cookies and shortbread cookies were the best I’ve ever tasted. Ever. The cupcakes and the icing were very moist and delicious. No hard icing here. The scones were crumbly yet not dried out. Exactly what a scone should taste like. The lemon squares were amazing!! I couldn’t have made them better myself and I am a baker. Not dried out at all, and perfect taste of lemony tart and sweet.

I just happened to purchase a daily deal to give Sugar Shack a try and I’m so glad I did! The variety was great and all of my cupcakes were awesome!

AWFUL!! Skip this desert. I could not wait for Sugar Shack to open as I was very familiar with the Metrotainment Bakeries and usually love their cakes. I don’t know if it was just a bad day, but I went one saturday morning for carrot cake, yellow cake with chocolate icing and a couple of double chocolate cupcakes. The cake was beyond DRY – it tasted like the wedding cakes that look really good, but taste awful. I was so disappointed and really do not plan on going back. All the cake I purchased, including the cupcakes, was DRY. Such a disappointment !! I will stick with Wright’s gourmet sandwich shoppe in Dunwoody – they have the best cakes and cupcakes, always fresh and delicious.
