We came on a Saturday nigt. We should have known to turn around by how dead the seating area was. Service was spotty. Every food order came out burnt, lettuce wilted, items missing from the order. The musician was so loud you couldn’t hear someone sitting next to you. For an hour plus drive it was not worth it.
Terrible. This could be a great place if the inexperienced owner would taste the crap their serving. The beer works
Unexpected gem. What an unexpected treat to find really great food at a marina restaurant! My husband and I are from Marietta and we look forward to the drive up to Lake Lanier, just to have their awesome blue cheese/walnut dip and blackened mahi mahi sandwich. Love the casual atmosphere and outdoor dining. I’m from the Florida panhandle and have found my home away from home!
Great Place. Relaxing causaul atmosphere with great food. Went there on vacation, Great food and service. The Mahi sandwich was great. The owner was a delight to talk with. Looking forward to going back.
Great lunch!. Stayed on a friends boat, and walked to the Castaways. Had great service and ordered the fresh catch sandwich (Mahi) and my wife had the blackened Mahi. Both were beyond expectations. Lightly fried and tender and the blackening was not overdone. Service was outstanding and we left wanting to return the next day.

Wasted opportunity. This place is right on the water with in the holiday marina… it’s a great place to have a drink, but the food is terrible… with the amount of money being thrown around that area, especially summer time, a good, fresh, simple menu could make this a hot spot.
