Yum. This is a fantastic place to get Korean food on the go. I was get the bug Okey beef and it is amazing. Normally I will call it in on my way there and I will be ready when I get there. The two gentlemen that work the counter are very nice and friendly.
Gam Cho- Korean Fusion Take Out. My husband and I happened on this Buford treasure last night. Small and tucked away, Korean Fusion take out. We decided to give this a try, I wish I could pronounce some of the foods we tried! Deliciously seasoned, fairly priced and fresh cooked to order. Very friendly owners. Will definitely be back!! (near the old Kroger/Kmart on Buford Hwy, used to be a BBQ place.)
Run – don’t walk – to this amazing hidden gem!. What a fantastic surprise to find this hidden gem so close to home! We have tried everything on the menu and it has always been spot on. The Bulgogi burger with kimchi is a go to for me and the bibimbap cup is my son’s favorite, even getting an extra to take to school the next day. After this weekend the kimchi bacon fried rice is a new favorite. The flavors just explode in your mouth and the addition of the fried egg is genius. We anxiously await the weekly specials on Thursday and Friday because they are always out of this world. Bulgogi quesadillas, spicy tofu soup, Korean wings, burritos – you never know what they’re going to come up with next. Everything is fresh and made to order while you wait. Richard and Sang will answer any questions you may have and give you recommendations if needed. It’s a small place, no frills, near a formerly bustling strip mall. It’s primarily for to go orders, but they do have two small tables if you want to eat there.I recommend you run – don’t walk – to Gam Cho. I want to see this place stay so we can all enjoy it for the long haul. So don’t just drive by – stop in and give it a try. You will not be sorry you did!
Awesome people, Amazing food :). I stopped in to grab some lunch and was not disappointed 🙂 I am not a fan of spicy food, but they have something for everyone, everything was made fresh when I ordered. Also the Barley tea was really good!! I will be stopping in regularly from now on 🙂
Yummy. We ordered bulgogi, bibimbap, and an order of kimchi. The food was delicious and the kimchi tasted so fresh like I had when I was in Korea. This is one of our new favorite places, hopefully it does well despite it’s location!
